Painful Squeezing, No Massage & Weak Heat
I found the purpose of this product to be very confusing. I ordered it for pain relief and relaxation, but that is not what I received. Despite "massage" being listed as a main feature, there isn't an actual massage function that kneads or manipulates the muscles. Instead, this device uses air compression (pneumatic squeezing) to inflate and deflate different parts of the sleeve. The sleeve essentially functions like a blood pressure cuff: it squeezes your arm until it creates significant pressure, releases, and then does it all over again. At peak inflation, it feels like your circulation has been cut off; it is uncomfortable and can be panic-inducing instead of soothing. You can loosen the straps to reduce the overall pressure, but that still doesn't address the main problem—that this is an aggressive squeezing machine, not a kneading or rolling-style Shiatsu massager. The heat function was another letdown. The specs claim it reaches 113°F, but it never felt hot to me; it maxed out at just feeling warm. I prefer strong heat for therapy, and this was definitely not a high-heat experience. Overall, I am disappointed. The only benefit this promised and actually delivered on was compression. If you are looking for a relaxing spa experience, this is the wrong technology. Read more
