Holds things at the weights advertised. Just make sure you properly clean your walls (yes, even with an alcohol wipe. Small layers of dust, even those you can't easily visibly see, can be a major factor to if things will stick, and you don't want to find that out the hard way like I did once) I wish they were cheaper, but there's not many good alternatives with comparable weight capacity and adhesion, so their pricing makes sense from that standpoint. I love 3M and I love these strips. Used them to hang a bunch of pictures. My only complaint or worry is the plastic backing (not the hooky sides) seems to peel away from the hooky side and I'm not talking about the plastic you are SUPPOSED to peel off. Who knows if my pictures are going to crash to the ground? I'm going to keep my faith with 3M and cross my fingers. They are easy to use and the adhesive strength that goes on the wall and the picture is very, very strong. Read more

I use these for all kinds of things around the house! These picture hangers are great for hanging temporary and permanent decorations. I use them for a gallery wall in my hallway and the pictures have stayed hanging for several years. I have had older Velcro separate from the backing because the glue dries out, but that doesn’t happen often. I also use these to hang temporary holiday decorations.
