These work exactly as advertised. I needed a replacement for my hand towel rack. This came in really handy because I was able to reattach with no fuss in the new house. I just wish they had the medium size only and not the medium/large together. I don’t have a use for the larger size, so for me this was not the best price for me. I guess I can find a use for the larger ones or cut them down, but it would just be nice to be able to purchase only what I need to eliminate waste. Anyhow, this is great for the hand towel rack and has great hold ability. There was no paint peeling when I removed the old strips at my old house and these worked great attaching it to the wall in the new house. I needed to hang some pictures in my newly painted bathroom and did not want to use nails so 3M to the rescue. These command strips are minor miracles. My pictures are perfectly hung, no holes, and they HOLD well. Invisible under your pictures. They come in a variety of sizes and weights. A bit of the pricey side, but for the quality & durability they are worth the investment. Very happy with 3M products. Read more

Just finished a complete bathroom re-do including new shower. Needed towel hooks and got these hooks to match the shower frame and fixtures. Applied the hooks exactly as instructed, (on glass subway tiles) but they did not hold up to the bath towels which may have exceeded the weight limit when wet. So heeding the suggestion of a previous reviewer, I used clear silicon sealant around the edges of the mounted hooks, allowed to dry for 24 hours. Now they hold perfectly and look just as stylish as I wanted. Very grateful to that reviewer for solving my problem. Read more

I had used these 3M Command hooks a long time ago, and only discovered the hooks can be detached from the wall when I had to move to another residence. In the new residence, there are no hooks behind the bathroom door, where they are much needed. So I purchased these more expensive waterproof ones with chrome-colored coating. This time, I followed the installation instructions carefully, including watching a YouTube video, to make sure that I get the steps right. I am glad I spent the effort, and I took time to get the measurements right so that the 3 hooks lined up properly. With more times on my hand this time, I made sure to allow the recommended duration for the adhesive bonding to take effect, including waiting for at least an hour before putting weight on each newly installed hook.
