I've used these products in 2 different places I've lived. When I first installed it, it stayed put for 2 years until I removed it myself to move. I purchased some replacement strips and installed it again in my new place, and again it hasn't moved. (FYI I installed on tile). It's not the easiest to install but also not the hardest by any means (there are multiple steps, so just be sure to follow them). Don't skip the step where you clean the surface with alcohol and it'll work just fine. It's a great solution for showers with no storage. It looks good/clean, can be removed temporarily for cleaning, is sturdy without being heavy, and fits anywhere in your shower. I was skeptical that it wouldn't fall given the weight I've made it hold, but it's stayed out while holding full size shampoo, conditioner, body wash, and tiger odds and ends. I do recommend placing it on the side of your shower that is furthest from your shower head. Highly recommend. Read more

Nothing else ever stays on my fiberglass shower walls. I've tried what seems like 6 million different kinds of suction cups and all the tricks to get them to stick, and none of them stuck for more than a few days. I didn't really know Command made shower products, but I'm so glad I went with these. I have the caddy and the razor holder and both of them are amazing. They drain really well and they don't allow water to pool in the bottom and cause mildew or anything. It's been about a month and they're still stuck really well. I keep 2 one-liter bottles of shampoo/conditioner and a bottle of face wash in there and it holds them just fine. I even use the pumps while they're still in the caddy (even though I probably shouldn't.) But just be sure to follow the instructions with the alcohol wipe and hold the sticky pieces down for as long as they say to. Read more

I should start off by saying that I don’t actually use this in the shower...I was actually looking for something to hold small items next to my bed (like my phone with the charging cord attached) and it works perfectly! It’s extremely easy to install, just like all other Command products, and is actually a pretty big size and has multiple holes to drain water (smaller “flower petal” type designed ones in the middle and two large openings on each end’s side). This works perfectly for me to be able to be able to slip my charging cable through one of the holes and have my phone sit in it charging, and when I unplug my phone, the charger stays organized and upright because the “head” of the charger doesn’t fall back through the hole- it would be perfect for cord organization and easy access! Being that it’s hung on my wall, it’s not unattractive and actually blends in pretty well/is pretty clear in color. I’ve also put a small book, febreze, and cold medicine in it, so I would say it can hold a decent amount of weight. I think it would hold shampoo and conditioner bottles with no problem. Regarding some people not getting the “bathroom” command strips with their order- I did receive special “bathroom” strips with mine. Read more

I discovered Command products after my family & I bugged out of New Orleans just ahead of Hurricane Katrina & wound up living with my father in Florida for six weeks. My daughter enrolled in public school there temporarily. She wanted a wall mounted cork board to organize her work, but I didn't want to drill holes in my dad's Sheetrock. I found Command hooks in a local store. The packaging promised damage-free removal, so I bought several & crossed my fingers. They worked great & came off six weeks later with no problem. I've been hooked ever since. 3M doesn't sell replacement mounting plates, but after much searching, I contacted customer service & they mailed me four at no charge. Those plates aren't always interchangeable; a large one for a hook is a different width than a large one for the shower caddy. I'm surprised 3M doesn't standardize them (small, medium & large) & sell them at retail. I expect some people might throw away a product if they break or misplace the mounts. That's a quibble, though. I use several Command products to organize the shower: my stuff at one end, my wife's at the other. These things never fall off (unlike those caddies that hang from the shower arm & periodically crash onto your foot mid-rinse). They're durable, easy to clean & easy to reposition. An absolute must for people looking to create a bit of order in this chaotic world. Read more

I've had two of these hanging up in the shower for over 2 years and have had no problem. They actually stick! Both sides stay up and there is no sliding, no worrying about whether something is too heavy for it. We've had them full with shampoo, conditioner, body soap, kid's bubbles, you name it - they have been wonderful. Yet now, we have redone our bathroom and the construction crew saved me my 2 shower caddies but they didn't save me the mounting bases on the back. UG!!! I have hunted the internet looking to purchase some mounting bases for my shower caddies as I can't rehang my caddies without them. Yep, you need the adhesives strips but you also need the mounting bases first to slide onto the caddy. Hoping that Command can help me out here as it seems crazy to have to throw out some shower caddies just because they don't sell the mounting hardware. We shall see. Read more
