I was looking for something to aid with dry eyes since, I find myself waking up each morning and requiring eyedrops. This is a well-made heated face mask out of nice smooth/silky material that feels nice to the touch on my skin. The interface is pretty intuitive, with a button for on/off, one to change temperature ranging from 35°C to 65°C, and one to change time duration. The timer lasts for about 15 minutes but can go up to 90 minutes which I think is a bit long for a heating device to be on my face so most of my sessions were 15- 20 minutes. I like setting the temperature at about 50°C since any higher feels too hot on my face; there's an automatic failsafe that will power the device off if it reaches 65°C so that's nice to know my face won't be charred should I fall asleep. This heated eye mask has been a useful product to help soothe my dry eyes. When taking the mask off the first time, my vision was blurry from all the unclogged oils in my tear ducts, a little scary but after a few blinks it cleared up, leaving my eyes feeling rested. I work with screens pretty much the entire day at work, while on my phone, then at home on the television so I like to run a session just before bed to relax my eyes before I fall asleep. The battery life seems to last for a while considering I only use the device about 20 minutes at a time I haven't bothered to charge it yet; there is a Usb-C charge port located right on the control interface for easy access. Also forgot, the strap wraps around your head with a light velcro strap to ensure it fits to your head properly, its a neat seamless velcro that unwraps easily and stays in place, I didn't notice the magnets described so I think it has to do with how the headband works. So this seems to be thoughtfully made but definitely do your research first. The mask is made of nice satiny silky like material, which feels nice in the skin, though I assume it’s not actually silk, though not a big deal. The interface is intuitive, though it is in Celsius, not Fahrenheit. The temps on the product range from 35 Celsius to 65 Celsius and the timer range from 15 minutes to 90 minutes my research indicates you should say around the 45° mark and that 65 is way too high for therapeutic eye care. Also, 90 minutes seems way too long as well. So I think if you order this you should definitely do your research about safe usages and what may actually worsen dry eye symptoms. Otherwise a heated eye mask can be a useful product, and I tried it to help soothe my dry eyes. Using the caveats above I used it at 45 degrees for 20 mins every few days for a couple weeks. My eyes definitely feel better after use soothes, less dry and less tired. Great for an afternoon pick me up after staring at a computer all morning, on those days where you need a little extra to get you thru the day. The material is washable, which is nice. You can detach the electrical components so it can be tossed in the washer. Easy peasy. The battery seems to be lasting a good while, though if you were using it on high for the full 90 mins it probably would go faster. This eye mask is very well made, soft, and comfortable. I find the heat very soothing for my dry tired eyes or even times when I'm experiencing sinus pain and pressure. I'm not really up on all of the therapeutic protocols and won't be making any claims in that direction. But I will say that sitting with my eyes closed and the heated eye mask over my eyes for 15-20 minutes is usually a very calming experience that leaves my eyes feeling better. It's super easy to use and I really like that the heating element is magnetic and can be detached from the washable eye mask. I have another heated eye mask that is not washable.
