My whole life I always had a feeling for which direction I was facing. No so living in the mountains of Montana. It is good to get my bearings back! One suggestion: the strip for sticking it to my dash really doesn’t work at all. A better mounting method would make this perfect Read more
I bought two of these and neither worked. After the first didn't work (only pointed south to east, never N or W) I figured I just had the "odd" bad apple. After the second didn't work, (will work at times, other times up to 180 degrees off ) I believe these are poorly made. Read more
This is a cool compass. Yes, I know about gps, but sometimes you may not have a working phone. Plus, it's very easy to look at it in 1/2 a second and determine your direction. Read more
The unit had difficulty find the direction in many places in the car. Where i have it at the moment seems to work better. I still dont know if it is working accurately Read more

These car compasses look cool, but I learned (after shelling out for this) that they really do not work at all with modern vehicles because of the way they are made, with all the magnetic interferences we didn’t used to have in older vehicles. I’m planning to put this on the end of a walking stick, where it has a prayer of working. It can look cool that way instead. Also, I was confused about why the N—>S arrow was pointing in the opposite direction, but that’s the way these floating ball directional compasses work. Google for how to. Read more
This compass is garbage! It is off by about 50 degrees, sometimes one way and sometimes the exact opposite, going down the same road! Read more
