I didn't realize how difficult it is to find warehouse type lights that are hardwired. Most of these type of lights out now are outlet powered. I was replacing an old existing warehouse type light in a basement storage room that was previously hardwired. I was at Costco one day and saw a nice looking warehouse light. I thought oh this will be simple to replace. I learned the lesson that everything things seem to be easy until you actually start taking things apart. I took the Costco light apart that was outlet based and thought maybe I could rewire it. Nope, not easy at all. All the wires inside of it were black. No easy way of doing it. So back it went to the store. I searched and searched for a warehouse light that was hardwired. I came up empty until coming across this particular product. It cost a decent amount but it is well worth it. The light is bright and was very easy to install. Literally only took me 10 minutes to replace using this light. One other thing to note is that the wires on this are solid! No hastle of trying to wrap the wires around one another only to find out it's not a good connection. The media could not be loaded. This was part of a whole project to reroute my garage lighting to a 20 amp circuit from a subpanel in my garage, vs being 1960's style, tied to my kitchen lights + others. The weight feels comparable to industrial fixtures I have installed, as well as the build. Noticed it has wiring for low volt lighting control, if you wanted to add it to a motion sensor zone. Not for my setup. I just needed two to light half my garage. There's a tiny bit of warmth to these lights, yet they're daylight kind of bright. They're not so blue light, compared to some LED bulbs I retrofitted into some fluorescent fixtures on the other side of my garage. As their promo video says, there's a j-box at the top of the light, but the ones I received do not have an actual single gang box as a piggy back, instead the knock-out lid opened up to the fixture itself, where your conductors are at. The good thing about this compared to the little single gang is you have plenty of room to stuff your make-up work with little to no bends to your splices. I'm sensitive to LED drivers that flicker the light and give me motion sickness. This LED driver does a great job giving you a clean amount of light. I have the 90 watt version for a 10 foot ceiling in a 14x14 space in my garage and it lights nicely. These are great for the price. Be advised: there is a surface mount bracket option that you can find on other websites, this does not come with a surface mount bracket. Read more

The shop next to me used these lights, so I ordered some too. I'm renovating a shop about 1000sqft for my new business, I put 6 of these lights in, they are 13 and a half feet from the floor. I used the brackets it came from to hang them without chains and they light up the place amazingly! Really surprised. Only 1 came slightly damaged. Read more
