I absolutely LOVE LOVE LOVE this hair dryer. There are only 2 things I don't like about it. That is where the cold shot button is and the ease of which the filter cover comes off. All it is is a learning curve, it took a while for me to remember to not put my finger on it and accidentally hit it while drying my hair, along with keeping my hand above the filter. Now I don't have any issues with the dryer. I LOVE that there is a cold shot button that you don't have to hold, you just press it and it stays cold until you press it again. The screen is fancy, it's lightweight, it dries my hair quickly, the attachments work great and stay on, even while doing a full blowout with brush routine. If you are looking for a GREAT inexpensive hair dryer, try this CONFU Hair dryer. I also have a Shark Glam but prefer drying my hair and doing blowouts with my CONFU. I use my Shark ONLY with the attachments now. Read more

I wanted to love this hair dryer with my whole heart—and honestly, it almost made it. It’s lightweight (my arm thanks you), surprisingly quiet (my eardrums thank you), and powerful enough to blast through my thick-ish hair in minutes. That’s impressive, considering my last dryer cost almost $140 and wheezed like it was going up a flight of stairs. So why only 4 stars? Two reasons: 1. It just doesn’t get hot enough for me. I like my heat HOT-hot—like “am I blow-drying or forging steel?” hot. This one hits a warm-but-not-scorching level, and my thicker hair never quite makes it to fully dry territory. Close… but not Sahara Desert vibes. 2. The digital screen likes to start fresh every time. The screen itself is bright and fancy, which is fun—BUT every time I turn the dryer off between sections, I have to re-select the speed and heat settings. Every. Single. Time. I wish it remembered my preferred “lava blast” mode, but nope. It’s like meeting the dryer for the first time over and over again. Overall, it’s a good dryer—lightweight, quiet, sleek, and strong. If you don’t need extreme heat or you don’t mind resetting your settings between passes, it might be perfect for you. For me? Solid 4/5. Great, but not quite hot enough to earn that last star.
