I’ve been searching for a contact lens case to use when I travel, and my only real requirements were that it had a mirror and enough space to store a contact lens case. While browsing through options on Amazon, I stumbled across this one, and honestly, the hilarious cover is what sold me. I just had to choose the one with the frog that’s labeled “Poison.” Why wouldn’t I want to pull out something weird and funny each morning? Overall, it does exactly what it’s supposed to do. A couple of things to note, though: The included lens case feels a bit cheap, and I’m not sure I’d trust it not to leak since it doesn’t have a gasket or o-ring like most of my other cases. The lens case it comes with is made to fit into the molded slot inside the main case. None of my own reusable cases fit in that space. It comes with tweezers and a little suction cup for removing contacts. I’ve never used tools to get my contacts out, but for those who do, these seem like they’d work fine. The tiny vial included for saline is plastic and only holds enough for one cleaning or storage fill, so don’t plan on it replacing your travel solution bottle. All in all, it’s a decent travel case with a mirror and enough room to store your contacts. It’s not some high-end fancy case, but I didn’t order it for that. I got it for the novelty of a poisonous frog staring at me while I poke my eyes each morning. If you plan on using your own contact case, you can either remove the insert inside or leave out the included tools to make space. Honestly, I’m sure there are plenty of other small items you could store in here if you wanted to. For me, it’s just a fun, functional little travel case that makes me laugh every time I see it. I grabbed this mostly because of the ridiculous frog on the cover, and I have zero regrets. It’s one of those things I didn’t think I’d use much but somehow now I’m weirdly attached to it. I’ve tossed it into my travel bag a few times now and it’s held up way better than I expected. The mirror’s actually good, like not warped or cloudy, and everything inside fits snug so it doesn’t rattle around even when I’m half-sprinting through a terminal. The case feels smooth and not creaky, and it hasn't cracked or popped open even after a fall or two. It definitely has more structure than other flimsy little contact kits I’ve picked up in the past. I will say the contact case it comes with isn’t the best, kind of bare-bones and doesn’t have that seal I usually look for, so I swapped it for one of mine. It didn’t quite fit in the molded space but I made it work by pulling out one of the included tools. Speaking of, I’ve never been a tools person for contacts but having the tweezers and suction thing tucked in there is weirdly handy when I’m in the backseat of a car or trying to do anything without a sink nearby. The mini solution bottle doesn’t hold a ton but it’s just enough for a short trip. I don’t know if it’s perfect for everyone but for me, it hits that sweet spot of funny and functional, which makes it way more fun to use than any basic lens case I’ve had before. Read more

It does seem to be a quality-made item and the material is well-made. The material feels like it is made from plastic. It does come with the necessary parts, which makes installation easier to care for and store since you do not have to buy extra tools and spend more money. This is a good value for the price and for how many different tools it comes with. This comes with the contact lens case, tweezer removal tool, mirror and small vial to put solution in. The size of this Watercolor Butterfly Contact Lens Case is good. This product is easy to use and because of its size, this is good for travel as well. The items are easy to clean. The case is beautiful and well made. It is easy to open, but also stays securely closed. It has everything you need inside to travel without having to take a bunch of contact stuff with you. Also is great for keeping an emergency contact kit handy in my bag. Nice little product. Read more
