Better than the official charging station

The media could not be loaded. My first review on Amazon where I try to use more than a few sentences. So I'm doing a lot of reviews rn for psvr2, and this is one of the products I got to charge it and hold the headset. In all honesty, it is far better to use than the official charging station that Sony brought out and costs $20 less. The fact that the ps sense controllers can very easily and quickly drop and slide into place to charge is a big bonus. If you compare with the official charging station that Sony has, there's a sweet spot you gotta hit, where as this just makes a lot more sense. It charges well, I love the magnetic USB adapter for the controllers. The stand is a bonus too, glad they did this and I find it odd Sony didn't at least have some symple stand for theirs. I would highly recommend getting this, even over the official charging station. Also, this was delivered next day. Thanks, Amazon. This 3-D experience did not last even 6 months which, for the cost, is ridiculous functionality. This was a Christmas 2024 present for my 10 year old and it stopped working in May 2025. When plugged into the PS5, there is no functionality when the Oculus is plugged in. The cord is attached to the helmet. It has not been dropped, nor has any other accident happened to it. Welcome to the last 3rd party accessory you never knew you needed. I NEVER BUY 3RD PARTY accessories. I typically only stick to 1st party official Sony, Microsoft and Nintendo devices, but I saw this on a Twitter post and it looked so much better than the official dock. I was not disappointed. The build quality is nigh perfect. I was not in love initially with the magnetic tabs you attach to the controllers but it's so much more efficient to just snap the controller it's place and it's charging. The LEDs turn orange when charging and display blue when full. The headset sits perfectly on the dock and creates a very attractive display that saves a ton of space. Battery charge time I'm still trying to pin down but will update this review when I have a good idea. It seems VERY QUICK! I actually have no negatives. I will be more apt to try 3rd party software in the future. Highly RECOMMEND OVER THE OFFICIAL CHARGING STATION! AND ITS CHEAPER! Read more
