Amazing product, Excellent customer service! Kitchen counters in most houses are way too low. My mother is loosing her good posture due to hunching over preparing meals in the kitchen. Enter Convenience Concepts! We purchased 4 of these, risers, 2 for each of our 2 houses, and they are spectacular! The faux wood pattern on the white top is beautiful and the working surface is quite large. They are totally sturdy and assembly was a piece of cake. Moreover, I would give the customer service of this local, American company an A+. Addendum: It gets better. Wrote back to the company saying I had reviewed them and then happened to mention that the particleboard crossbar had also cracked some. I was trying to make it work with ducktape. The rep. said, "oh no. We will send you a cross bar piece ASAP." So this is truly a customer-focused company. I will check what else they have on their site as I would love to buy from them again! Initially, when it arrived, the central piece of one of the units was cracked a bit. Upon hearing our issue, Convenience Concepts immediately offered to ship us a new middle piece. The new board arrived a few days later, and 10 minutes later we were all set. YAY--now despite no end in sight to meal-preparation, mom can maintain her beautiful posture. Read more

I purchased this unit to raise my Sony 65 inch television higher for better viewing (it was resting on a television stand which was too low and I set this unit on top). I was looking for something inexpensive and relatively attractive. I saw this unit and read the reviews then decided to write one myself with what I learned. PROS: Inexpensive ($28.50), and the cherry color looks good. Sturdy unit. Sits very well on the older television stand. CONS: Directions are a little difficult to understand at first. TOOLS USED: Phillips screwdriver Flathead screwdriver Small hammer Small screwdriver (used for aligning during setup) INSTRUCTIONS: DO NOT remove the stickers with numbers! You will get confused during assembly if you can’t refer to these numbered pieces. Separate the page with the parts description on it and familiarize yourself with the different components. Count the pieces (per instructions) and make sure you’ve got everything. Also, make sure you understand the Assembly with Camlocks and Dowels shown on Page 2 of the parts list. Now begin the assembly per the instructions. I had to reread the steps to make certain I knew what went where. It can be a bit confusing but if you pay attention you can reason it out. Make sure the Nut (1 piece), brass, Part D is aligned as described in the instructions. I used a small screwdriver to poke in the hole to insure alignment. BE CAREFUL! Otherwise Part D will fall out easily during assembly. Dowels: After inserting them I tapped them snug with a small hammer. I did not glue the wooden dowels as I felt it wasn’t needed (fit snug without glue). When attaching the top after the support assembly is complete set the top on the floor (or table) facing down, then set the support assembly on the top and complete the assembly. Don’t forget the put the little pads on the support to keep it from sliding and / or scraping. All in all the assembly took me about 30 minutes. It looks good – simple and efficient. The Convenience Concepts Designs2Go TV/Monitor Riser is a budget-friendly option that does what it’s supposed to, but the quality leaves a bit to be desired. The first one arrived broken, though customer service quickly replaced it. Assembly was easy, and the size is perfect for adding height and extra storage space for a gaming console or accessories. While it looks nice and serves its purpose, the particleboard construction feels somewhat flimsy, and the finish has minor imperfections. This was a great riser I found that accomodated my need to find a riser for my air purifier. I purchased a Honeywell Insight extra large room purifier. One of the suggestions for the purifier was to make sure to have it placed off the floor. The suggestion was 3 to 5 feet, but I wanted something just off the floor. Nothing is marketed for the purpose of an air "purifier riser". So I looked outside the box for that purpose. I found tv/monitor risers that seemed more able provide this function. This one caught my eye. I just made sure the dimensions would fit, and hold the weight. Perfect on both accounts. This riser accommodates around 60lbs. My air purifier is 20lbs. Very stable. Also, this riser was super easy to put together, less than 20 mins, and it fit perfectly. Highly recommend for whatever you need to be elevated off the floor. Read more

I have a dog with arthritis, I needed something low to the ground for her to be able to get on by herself so she could look out the window. This riser is perfect. I laid a 2" thick foam pad on it, then covered it with a bench seat cover. This riser wide enough for her to lay on, very sturdy, very easy to put together and it looks great. I know how I'm using it is NOT what it's supposed to be used for, but it's perfect for what I needed it for. Read more
