After opening the vacuum-sealed, zipper-locked bag, I pulled the shirt out, removed the cardboard holding it stiff in the bag, and let the been-in-a-bag-too-long smell dissipate. After an hour or two, it did so. After using a clothes steamer to get rid of the wrinkles, I tried it on. I found these to be true-to-size and to have a regular fit. It was comfortable but not roomy, as I raised my arms parallel to my shoulders and moved my upper arms around and felt a slight constriction there, as well as in the back, where the fabric was pulled taut. If you want something roomier, I would recommend going one size up. The textured linen design looks great on a summer day or for beach weather. It is nice and breathable. The fabric doesn’t have any elasticity to it, but it does hold its structure well, having some stiffness to it when wearing it. There was enough room to wear it with an undershirt as well if you so desire. The fabric is one hundred percent cotton, so be careful when washing it, or it will likely shrink on you. It has a nice level of softness to it and feels comfortable against my skin. The fabric is durable too, so it won’t tear easily. When buttoning up the shirt, I found them to move easily into and out of their buttonholes. When buttoning the top button, I found it to be almost tight and just a little restrictive. The linen texture felt great against my skin and felt very breathable. This ability to remain cool is especially important on a summer day when the heat is beating down on you, and the fabric just lets the heat dissipate through it. I feel this would work great wearing with khakis in a business casual environment, wearing with shorts during the late spring/summer time, or with jeans for some casual event. It would work well paired with a suit jacket for a more formal event. There are two tags in it, one of them on the inside back of the shirt with the Coofandy brand name, a small plastic bag with an extra button, and the size. On the lower left-hand side of the torso, it lists the washing instructions and the fabric blend. There is a wide variety of colors to choose from here, twelve in all. They also come in seven different sizes, from small to 4XL. They also have a budget-friendly price if you want to expand your summertime wardrobe and get more than one. This short-sleeve button-down shirt is a great pick. The packaging is impressive. Comes neatly folded with a cardboard insert inside a protective plastic bag, so it arrives looking sharp with no damage. Right out of the bag, it's soft yet has a slight rigidity that gives it a nice casual-elegant feel. The linen-like texture looks and feels classy. It fits true to size and feels snug the way it's meant to be, but not tight at all. It's flexible enough that I don't feel restricted when moving my arms or sitting down. Plenty of room for comfort. I usually wear an undershirt, and still feels good, not restrictive or tight. The 100% cotton fabric is breathable and good on hot days. I think this will look good with any type of dress. It feels a little starchy for linen, but may need to be broken in a bit. Found a few loose threads, but they were truly loose and not frayed, so no pulls that unraveled any seams. Buttons are sewed on well and stitching is clean. Feels durable and hope it lasts many summer days! - FUNCTIONALITY (5/5) Shirt is comfortable and lightweight. Fits as expected, although not a slim-fit (I guess this is subjective). Buttons up easily (always important). Irons fairly well also. It definitely functions as a short-sleeve button-up. - USER EXPERIENCE (5/5) I think I already mentioned that I like this shirt. The color is great and it's very comfortable. Great addition to my wardrobe for summer and quite versatile.
