The reality of the coat though, far exceeds my expectations. It's physically light to carry but extremely snug in the wind. I've gotten a lot of compliments on the way it looks. It's buttery soft, looks and feels like chamois, but it's machine washable. My one caveat is that the zipper is a little stiff but I can't say I've had any actual problem with it wearing it for ten days. I found leather coats that were only a little more expensive than this but after owning it and wearing it every day, I'd have to say I'd buy this again over the ones I originally wanted.
