I was skeptical. The pictures always seem to look better than what you receive. Right? Not with these guys. I'm actually quite impressed! I bought four of their shirts, and was amazed at the quality and WEIGHT of the fabric (reviewed those also). It was on that basis that I took a chance on these pants. Wow. Really nice. They fit perfectly, and the quality is, like their shirts, top-notch. I mean, there's just a certain "feel" to them that you would expect mostly from much more expensive "designer" labels. I bought this brand and another brand to compare. I really like the fabric and design of these pants. They are not flimsy, but rather a nice quality weight fabric. The design is also nice with a dressier look than just your average beach pant. I ordered khaki and the color is exactly as expected. For reference, I wear a 32x32 jean and ordered a size medium. Here's where I ran into some problems. The pants I received fit perfectly in the waist. The length, although wearable, is a little shorter than I like. I didn't wash the pants, but if they ever shrink, then I really won't be able to comfortably wear them at a shorter length. I think the waist would probably be ok. Narrowing the leg of the pant would probably help give a different look to the pants. When I compared the length of these pants to the other brand I bought, there was only about a 1/2 inch difference in length. However, the other brand is more of a tapered leg and looks way longer to the eye despite the very minor difference in length. I'm not sure if the short pant length is relegated to this particular pair, since other reviewers said the pants they received were long? I may try another pair to see if they come longer next time? The overall cut is fuller, so it looks weird to have a short pant leg. Overall, I like the quality of the pants and would recommend them provided you receive a size that fits properly. My biggest concern about these pants (or ANY of the dozens of linen pants choices here on Amazon) was the length. Having them all sized as S, M, L, XL, XXL instead of with an actual inseam measurement was a little too vague for a tall guy like me. I'm 6'3", 190 lbs. and usually wear 34" x 34" pants. Based on another review, I took a chance on these XXL and they're perfect. The color - khaki - is just what I wanted, and the material seems like good quality. The elastic waistband fits comfortably snug on my 34/35-inch waist, but the drawstring helps if you want a tighter fit. And it even has belt loops if you want a belted look. I also like that they have back pockets that button if I'm carrying a wallet. They're obviously quite a bit baggier than I would normally wear, but that's what I was going for with these: casual, lightweight, comfy for a beach wedding vow renewal. They just arrived, so I've only tried them on for size. I haven't worn them for any considerable length of time, but I'm hoping for the best. Read more

These pants were decent- not great, but they were fine. I ordered them last minute for my husband for our beach vacation in the Caribbean in the dark gray color. The quality is nowhere near a pair I purchased elsewhere, but that's to be expected on Amazon I think, and there were so many shades offered, which was nice. So my husband wore them once on the trip to dinner, then I washed them on cold delicate when we arrived home. The color completely faded or ran or whatever, so now they are unwearable. Read more

Why did you pick this product vs others?: Bought these in gray and got sent a tan pair. Not a big deal, they are nice and very comfortable. To much of a hassle to do a return because of the color. Also, I am 5' 10" 220lbs and got an XL, they are a little baggy but that is how I like my cloths. Read more
