I have a 44 inch chest, which would be a size M per the sizing chart. I ordered a size L, which is for a 48 inch chest, for the extra room. It fits really snug, which means it isn't for a 48 inch chest. The shoulders are also a little tight. I'm going to try a size XL to see if that's any more roomy.
