This shirt was one of my regular rotations over the last golf season and it has held up very well. The color, style and fit are excellent. This green color in particular is not too loud and not too mute, it’s just right. The fabric easy on the skin, breathes very well, and fits comfortably throughout my swing and when I’m sitting or walking. I have the typical broad surfer shoulders that frequently make most shirts uncomfortable, unless it’s a larger size, which makes the rest of the shirt fabric around the torso too loose — this shirt is tapered nicely, without being tight around the chest or baggy in around the waist. This shirt is meant to be worn untucked. It does not ride up or down, does not bind and wicks away moisture on some of the hottest, humid days of the summer and keeps its shape for the entire round. I wanted a shirt with a collar for the golf course (required at most courses and clubhouses), one that keeps its shape on the course and doesn’t wrinkle after washing. I have a ton of polo shirts, and I just wanted to find something a little different and more casual, while having all the attributes of an athletic shirt. Linen and cotton shirts do not do well in hot, humid weather, and many of the “breathable” camp shirts look great, but do not move freely like a polo shirt. This shirt fit those criteria. Not only does the fabric breathe well, but not being tucked in adds another degree of breathability that tucked in polos do not have. Note: Some courses, especially private ones, require that all men tuck their shirts in throughout the round and in the clubhouse, and that may be a problem, but you may be able to tuck it in on the first tee and let it slip out once you’re out on the course — unless you have a hardliner Marshall on the course looking for any etiquette faux pas. Just in case, leave an extra polo shirt in the locker or car so that you don’t have to pay an exorbitant price for a logo shirt at the pro shop. Read more
