I bought this COOFANDY Men's Shiny Sequin Blazer for a very specific (and hilarious) reason: my company asked me to volunteer as a surprise "game show host" in front of hundreds of people at our annual sales kickoff. The plan was for me to act shocked when they pulled me onstage and then quickly they would throw this flashy jacket on me to complete the look and provide me with some faux confidence. Short story: it was an absolute smash hit! The sequins are super shiny and eye-catching under stage lights—everyone was laughing and cheering the moment it came out. I'm 6 ft tall and about 185 lbs, and I went with the Large—it was absolutely perfect. The fit was spot-on (comfortable even over a regular shirt, not too tight or baggy), the quality held up great with no issues during the flight in my luggage (thr thing doesn't wrinkle!), at the event, and the one-button design with the black collar gave it that classic tuxedo vibe without feeling cheap or costume-y at all. What really surprised me was how reasonable the price was—I paid around $69, which felt like a steal for something this bold and well-made. It sparkled perfectly, moved well, and didn't feel too bulky or itchy. The best part? It was such a crowd-pleaser that our worldwide sales leader told me to keep it on for the rest of the day. I ended up wearing it through meetings, photos, and networking—people kept stopping me to compliment it or crack jokes. Beautiful quality unfortunately I picked the wrong size. I need to exchange it for a large. The item is probably the correct size for a medium but unfortunately, my friend has a bit of a tummy and it couldn’t be closed so we’ll get a medium and then have the sleeves altered to fit. My initial impression of the jacket when I first saw it was not wholly positive. Purely from an aesthetics position, it has two fairly large fashion gaffes / flaws: 1) The Red Sequins are backed not with Red, but with Silver opposite face! So they can easily get "miscolored" and "misaligned" simply by sitting on a chair or brushing against someone or something. 2) The seams of the jacket leave fairly gaping gaps of opposite color (silver) that can't be "fixed"... it just is. Those things said... When I wore this in public, it was an uninterrupted traffic stopper... LITERALLY! People just felt they HAD to comment about loving the jacket! I mean... Just before I got into my car, I rolled the trash bins out of the garage and out to the street (wearing the jacket since I was just leaving) and a woman driving (whom I have never seen before in my life) stopped her car, reversed back to my driveway, rolled down her window just to say "I ABSOLUTELY LOVE THAT JACKET!!!" And that was before I was even "out in public!" This red is a stunning eye catcher. People can't seem to help themselves commenting. And I wasn't even dressed up; I was wearing black levis, a red pearl button wrangler shirt untucked, and the sequined jacket... but the jacket itself seemed to transcend everything else and consume every bit of attention around it... At the dinner table with five other folks, we were interruped several times by folks passing by who simply had to "shake my hand"; give me a "fist bump"; tell me how I was the center of their evening; compliment me and the ladies on what a beaming presence we made; and on and on... It was almost stunning to have that much attention in the exact same physical bar where I've been dozens of time before, with no substatial attention at all... the only thing different tonite was the jacket! Wow! I wore the jacket the whole evening; it fits well; was cut perfectly to size (tho I considered ordering one size larger than usual, I ordered my regular size. Worked great!). Although it seems to run a bit hot, it's still soft, flexible and comfortable. The material (although thicker than a normal suit coat) is not so thick that I coudln't move. I ordered it to size, and it fit accordingly... with plenty of manueuverability and flexibilty / comfort. And I wasn't sitting still for three hours; I was up moving around, shaking hands, interacting with people who kept interrupting us... all very comfortably, with plenty of room to move about. Even despite the "flaws" I pointed out at the top of this review, this is definitely one STUNNING piece of clothing! Not only is it stunning from the perspective of the wearer, but apparently from the perspective of people on the street and in the world... young or old, wealthy or struggling, male or female... a true cross-section of society cannot help but notice and COMMENT on this jacket! Oh my goodness, I cannot say enough about this fun, tuxedo jacket! My husband wore it for his yearly Christmas party and it was a hit! The length was perfect. We did not have to have anything altered. The size is true to what is stated & the color is so pretty, it shimmers very nicely and amazingly it’s not hard. It’s soft and bends nicely with your body. The material thickness is perfect not too thick not too thin. It was cool that night maybe in the 40s and he was perfectly comfortable wearing it. Wrong size. I used the sizing chart and it said that I was a 3XL. The label said it was a 3 XL, but there’s no way this is a 3XL jacket. Read more
