I recently added the Mens Summer Beach Shorts in Black (Size Medium) to my vacation bag, and they have quickly become a favorite for casual, warm-weather wear. They offer a great balance of comfort and style for the price. The material is lightweight and has a linen-like texture that feels great against the skin. Even on humid days, these shorts stay cool and don't cling, making them perfect for the beach or a poolside lounge. The elastic waist and drawstring are a winning combination. I found the Medium to be true to size, offering a relaxed fit that isn't overly baggy. They sit right above the knee, giving them a modern, versatile look. These have functional pockets that are actually deep enough to hold a wallet or phone securely while you're walking around. If you happen to get them wet, they dry relatively quickly, which is a huge plus for vacation transitions from the water to a casual lunch. The only reason I'm giving these 4 stars instead of 5 is the wrinkle factor. Because of the lightweight material, they tend to come out of the dryer fairly wrinkled. You’ll definitely want to hang them up immediately or give them a quick steam if you want a crisper look. These are attractive and well made casual shorts for summer. I got them for my husband, who will wear them mostly around the house, and they are perfect for his purposes. I like that they're thinner for hot summer days; they seem like they would work well for walking or light exercise, too, though they aren't structured enough to work on heavy-duty gym days. These seem true to size and comfortable to wear, and the fit is attractive without being too baggy or clingy. They are a bit overpriced at full retail, but they're fairly priced when on sale. They are also very thin, so good coverage underneath is a must, and it's best to wear undergarments that camouflage easily instead of those that are too bright or too dark. Read more
