Cute, but Cheap and Poorly Made

This item looks cute, but I can immediately tell it will not last. The bottom is already separating from the back. I will need to use wood glue and clamps to fix it. Additionally, the wood is not premium. It almost feels like wood from a pallet. Cheap. Finally, the wood is not sealed in anyway - I willneed to buy some sort of sealant. I am disappointed with the quality overall. I would've rather spend an extra $10 or $15 for a better quality product. I do not expect this to last. Read more

A little darker than shown in the photos but that's real wood for you. You never know what you are going to get. I gave it as part of a wedding gift set of kitchen things and the bride really loved it so I can confirm its a great gift. Well made and solid real wood. Can hold iPads and tablets in addition to books for the younger cooking crowd. Attractive and modern looking and with the wood tone variations it can match a lot of cabinet colors without looking off. Nice little engraving with no weird Chinese name, so that's a plus! Priced at $23.99 at the moment, which is a perfect for a casual gift of part of a multiple item gift. I think the vale is there. Read more

Beautiful wood...only plus. Arrived broken, with piece to hold bottom of book broken. Help together with 5 little tiny staples. Main board was warped. No way to reattach without large gap between base and main board. Read more

I love this cookbook stand. I use it most often to hold my meal kit recipes while I'm cooking, but it holds cookbooks nicely as well. Three quality is very nice, and it's very pretty. I appreciate that the angle is adjustable. The arms that hold the page in place are springy - I do worry about this over time - I could see with frequent use or displaying a thicker cookbook could eventually impact the arms and they may cease springing back to their original position.
