This is a very basic "spinner" overhead luggage that will fit over your seat on an airplane flight. The inside has a fabric divider panel which separates into two separate sections if you want to divide your contents of your stuff inside the luggage. You have the option to unzip that fabric divider if you DO NOT want the divider, which will allow you to PUT MORE STUFF into the luggage. The fabric divider has lots of pockets with a zipper if you want to put odds and ends like body care, shampoo, toothpaste etc into it's own zippered section. It is very basic but reasonably priced compared to other similiar 28 inch "spinner" overhead luggage. There is a wide selection of colors and the gold color I bought was "true to the website photo" and a realistic presentation of the color, when I opened up the box and looked at the spinner for the first time. It is easy to maneuver. I don't fly on airplanes very much. I use this 99% of the time to carry grocery shopping home on the subway or bus/public transit. I use it every day to put stuff in when I am doing errands and dont want to get stuck carrying a heavy purse and tote bag. It is very easy to use, functional and utilitarian. Well manufactured and durable. I have only used it for a few weeks - so I cannot vouch for how well it holds up over one year. I bought the EXTENDED WARRANTY because I noticed in the past that the wheels on these "spinners" frequently grind down and wear out if you use it on a daily basis for grocery shopping to put heavy stuff in during errands. The EXTENDED WARRANTY did not cost much and I noticed in the past the wheels grind down to a nub within one year. The extended warranty for up to 3 years after the manufacturers warranty expires seemed like a good investment. I never, ever, ever buy extended warranties on cars because it usually turns out that everything that will break after the manufacturers warranty expires is deliberately EXCLUDED from what is covered in the extended warranty. I think I spent around $10 approximately (more or less) to extend this warranty for 3 years. If you are using this on a daily basis to lug around heavy groceries, it is definitely worth an extra $10 bucks or so to extend the warranty for three years - those spinner wheels on luggage are far too easy to grind down to a nub! This suitcase is super convenient for traveling; it glides easily thanks to its four wheels, which provide great stability and prevent it from tipping over when left standing. I've used it on several trips, and it still looks brand new. The size is perfect for carry-on luggage, and the zipper is very sturdy. Update almost exactly 2 years later: Suitcase still looks good and still going strong. I have travelled about 200,000 air miles in the last two years and have had no issues with handles, zippers etc. Very impressed!! Original review below.... Love The Color!! The distinctiveness of the color will help it stand out in a sea of black. This review is only 4 stars since I am in the packing phase. After this upcoming trip, will post an update as to how the suitcase performed. I am using the 28" (the largest suitcase in the set) to pack for an 8 day business trip to Europe. We will not have access to laundry facilities and on top of that, I need to pack clothing that covers casual, business and dressy. So that's a lot of ground to cover! So far no problem fitting everything in and it is still not very heavy. The interior has 3 pockets and straps to help you organize and secure your belongings. The suitcase has locks for anyone who is interested in that feature. Personally, I never lock. Have found through experience that TSA has trouble recognizing TSA compliant locks and will ALWAYS take the easy way out even if it means destroying your suitcase, luggage straps etc. Anyway, so far so good. I had to five flights in six days. I flew frontier and American Airways and both of these airlines took my bag as a checked bag no problems managed to pack six days worth of clothes plus so much extra in this bag. It was easy to use. It was easy to wheel around the airport. Getting it through TSA was no issue. It fit in the overhead compartment with no issue. I was really happy with the quality and the style of it so that my husband can use it for myself. I also like the fact that I could put my feet up when I was at the airport waiting. It was easy to roll around on two wheels or four the handle went up and down with ease. The handle on the side was a great addition, along with all of the pockets in the inside and the clips. Lightweight for a large bag. Wheels move easily, the handle seems sturdy and extends to varying heights and the built in locking mechanism is great. The color is bright, matching the web color. The interior zippers and straps work well to keep things from shifting too much. Read more
