I bought two of these - one each for both my kids for Christmas. After two months one of the units developed an issue. The seller was fantastic about addressing the issue and making it right. We love the fact that we don’t have to use AA batteries (either the rechargeable ones or disposable ones) - being able to recharge the remotes on these units is great. The cooling station works exactly as described and also decreased the footprint of the xbox setup by having the Xbox upright. Has an active fan in it that blows cool air up through the Xbox. This makes a huge difference in keeping the Xbox cool. Honestly the Xbox should have a fan like this built in, but it doesn't, so when it gets hot it starts to throttle the GPU and the picture from the Xbox will start to look pixelated due to the throttling. Looks great but the fan even on highest power does not really cool it down. If you’re looking for a cooling fan I recommend the G-story cooling fan. But the LEDs are very cool lots of different colors and settings. THEY DO NOT hold and charge elite series 2 controllers but they do sit in it. I’m pretty sure only regular controllers fit snug into it. It has some good weights to it plus it has the rubber underneath which would prevent it from easily knocking over if you have kids of animals which makes it very durable. Easy to plug in right in the back of the Xbox. Good price for how much comes with it and the looks and different uses of it. I’d definitely buy one for my next console as well. Read more
