The media could not be loaded. I recently upgraded from the regular STARTRC cooling stand to this newer model, and while it’s a step forward in terms of functionality, there are still some areas where it could improve. One of the standout features is its ability to retain cooling presets, even after turning off or resetting your PS5 console. This adds convenience during long gaming sessions. The horizontal design also enhances ventilation compared to vertical setups, ensuring better cooling performance, which is essential for intense gaming marathons. That said, the aesthetics leave a bit to be desired. It’s not the most visually appealing accessory, which might bother those who care about their gaming setup’s style. Moreover, I have concerns about the cleaning process for the fans. There aren’t any screws to open the unit, so if dust builds up over time, cleaning could become an issue. Another point of concern is the USB-C male connector on the PS5 controller docking station. The erected design might loosen over time if not handled carefully, which could impact its durability. Additionally, the provided USB cable is of low quality and barely long enough to reach the PS5 console. An extra inch would have made a significant difference in convenience. On the bright side, I’m glad there are no distracting LED RGB lights, as this keeps the design simple and functional. The cooling fans perform well—quiet on the low setting but slightly louder on high. Despite the noise on higher levels, I’m confident in its ability to keep my PS5 console cool. Overall, this cooling stand offers noticeable improvements over the regular version, especially in functionality and cooling efficiency. However, if STARTRC addresses the few issues mentioned—like cleaning access, USB-C durability, and cable length—this product would be even better. For now, it’s a solid upgrade with minor drawbacks. Happy to find a product that actually works. I was tried of always having dead chargers when i wanted to game and this devise makes it super easy to find my controllers and have them be fully charged. Its easy to just put it under your PlayStation it comes in tow pieces to fit what ever application you have for your PlayStation. The lights light up so you know the controllers are charging and which one is charging. For this price I am really happy to have this small convenient product. Read more
A los dos días tuve que quitarlo...hacía un ruido desagradable Read more
these slip on either side very easily and fits nicely. it adds about 4" to the width, and the fans point upwards so you do not have to worry about leaving breathing room on the sides. there are 3 fan speeds and all are fairly loud, but it does seem to do a good job of drawing away heat Read more
Works great for my slim digital console. I dont see why it wouldnt work for a regular sized console too. It is 2 separate pieces that can be placed wherever needed to fit your machine. Controllers are easily charged and the fans will keep the machine cool while using. Very stable and I dont worry about it falling. Great quality. Read more
Comes out of the box with a charging fan plate, an end-piece bridge, and a third middle bridge tucked into the end-piece. Also, the world’s smallest USB cable and a basic instruction manual. I’m at the point where is you’re not going to give me a charging cable long enough to do any good—reach a wall outlet, for example—then just say so on the box and let me know I need to provide my own. No one sends actual outlet ports anymore, anyway. Stop packaging this tiny, useless ephemera I have to immediately toss. So, in use, it wobbles a bit. The small rubberized traction pads on the bottom don’t like smooth coffee table surfaces, apparently; there was very little traction. The controllers had to be wiggled a bit more in order to be seated firmly on the charging posts. (I foresee great looseness in its future, where the controllers have to be carefully balance with other things, like folded bits of whatever, to get them in the right position to charge.) Fitting the third, middle bridge was a hassle, once the PS was docked on the end pieces, because the thin left side bridge undocked itself…and if I docked the right side and placed the middle bridge, then tried to dock the left side, the middle fell over…A hassle. Did I mention I had to use my own USB cable and outlet adapter? In short, once it’s together and left alone, it stands. The fans work, and aren’t obnoxiously loud. The controller chargers work…for now, and if you hold the controllers just right over the male end of the charging system, for a perfect insertion. Ahem. Yeah, I don’t like vertical stands (for stability reasons), so I wanted to try this. It won’t be the last one I try. Because I’m not really a fan. It feels cheaply made, to be quite honest, and flimsier than I would like beneath my pricy PS5. I’d prefer a more solid bit of construction if I’m trusting a $500 piece of console to it. Read more
