This low profile keyboard felt a little weird at first, mostly because the key shape and spacing are different from what I was used to. After a couple of days, everything started to click. Now it feels natural and even better than my previous keyboard. The low-profile keys are fast and smooth, the typing sound is very controlled, and the whole keyboard feels solid and well built. It’s one of those products that gets better the more you use it. Read more

I originally bought this white keyboard for its design, and it looks even better in person. The bubble-style low-profile keys immediately stand out on my desk and give it a very unique, modern look. Beyond the aesthetics, the typing experience has been a pleasant surprise. The keys feel smooth and responsive, making long typing sessions comfortable without feeling tiring. What really impressed me is the overall build and presence of the keyboard. It has a solid weight to it and stays firmly in place while typing, which adds to the premium feel. The low-profile layout makes typing fast and natural, and the mechanical sound is clean and satisfying without being distracting. It’s enjoyable to use whether I’m working, writing, or just browsing. Overall, this Balloon 84 keyboard feels more like a thoughtfully designed object than just a typical computer accessory. The combination of design, comfort, and typing feel makes it stand out from standard keyboards. It’s definitely on the expensive side, but if you value aesthetics, build quality, and a unique typing experience, it’s well worth the price. Read more

This is easily one of the most unique keyboards I’ve owned, especially when it comes to the keycaps—I’ve never felt anything quite like them before. The rounded, low-profile caps feel very smooth to the touch and give the keyboard a lot of personality. The keyboard itself feels solid and well built, and the typing sound is excellent—clean, consistent, and free of any harsh or metallic noise. The internal build clearly plays a role in that, and overall it feels like a well-tuned, pre-built keyboard rather than something meant for heavy modding. One detail I really like is the 2.4GHz receiver. It comes in a small capsule that also works as a USB-C to USB-A adapter, which is both clever and practical. The lighting is also very well done. The white backlight is even across the board, and the spacebar is fully lit thanks to extra LEDs on both sides of the switch. The south-facing LEDs are a nice bonus as well. There’s no printed manual in the box, but the digital instructions are easy to find on the manufacturer’s website. Once set up, switching between Windows and Mac layouts is simple thanks to a physical switch near the power button, which I really appreciate. Overall, this feels like a keyboard that’s been carefully designed from both a visual and functional standpoint. If you’re looking for something unique that’s already well done out of the box, this one definitely stands out. Read more
