I’ve tested my way through the internet’s favorite travel pillows—the quirky-shaped ones, the inflatable contraptions—none worked. Too stiff, too flimsy, too awkward, too restrictive. None of my travel pillows were perfect for me. Until that is, I happened upon Coop’s AirJustable travel pillow. For years, I’ve searched for the right travel pillow. I tried the beloved-by-others Trtl, which locks your head into one position—fine if you don’t move, but I do. The Bcozzy was my favorite for a long time, and it was more flexible and comfortable, but too soft to provide real support. I tried the TravelRest I‑Lene, which only works when the plane’s windows and walls line up nicely. Then there was the world of inflatable travel pillows — like this one you hug and this one doing whatever it is doing—they were all too stiff, scratchy, or awkwardly shaped. Then, I happened upon this new (at the time of writing) travel pillow by Coop. We use Coop pillows on all of the beds in our house (that is worth another review later, as we have a wide range of Coop pillows here, and love them all) — I was looking for a new pillow for our house and discovered their new travel pillow. Because I love Coop’s bed pillows, I decided to try their travel pillow. And, whew, the Coop AirJustable gets everything right. The shape allows me to sleep in many different positions (see the videos on their website for examples). The inflatable design allows me to customize the stability and support I need (which changes depending on the seat I am in on an airplane). The memory foam keeps it super soft and comfortable. Plus, because it is inflatable, it packs down small and fits perfectly in my favorite travel bag. This pillow has already hopped the pond and traversed the US with me—I’ve already put it to good use—and it is undoubtedly my Goldilocks option. It does everything I need it to do, and it does it exceptionally well. Finally. Read more

Just received a few days ago. Looks good and feels comfortable. Material cover feels soft and comfortable. Have button to inflate and to deflate but none to lock. Not sure if just capping it will lock but cap cannot close completelybecause inflate button is up. Will see how it goes on my next travel. Read more

This is a fantastic travel pillow ! I Just came back from canada and japan . I took it with me on planes and trains & bus . If it wasnt for that pillow i would probably be dead by now ...Very very long trip ... But I was able to sleep just fine with this everywhere . I loved it . I travel quit often too 5 to 8 times a year . I tried so many travel pillows in the past this one is by far my favorite ! Very comfortable doesnt take much space to pack . Provide neck support and is pretty breathable doesnt feel like iam suffocating with this one . Some others are just too big and too tight and just uncomfortable . But This is one is really just perfect . I 100% would repurchase it . I even plan to use it in the house while watching tv now cuz i love it . Buy it its a life saver ! Read more

I don't think there is any travel pillow that will truly make you comfortable in the same sense as you are at home, on the couch/ in your own bed, since airplane seats are so uncomfortable. However, this is the most versatile pillow I have tried and I don't think you will find better than this. You can use it sideways, upside down, backwards, add more air/ take air out all with a built in manual hand pump (feels like a squeaky toy squeaker) for different purposes/ comfort like sleeping on the window, leaning your head forward, tilting your head sideways, etc. I have used this on several flights now with the longest flights being 14 hours. Highly recommend this. I even bought it for several family members. There is even a pocket on the back where you can store stuff like an eye mask, or your wallet/ phone perhaps if you are traveling light. Read more

Got this to try on a very long flight to Asia. I will say it seemed to be well made with a soft, comfortable fabric. However, I didn’t find it to be much better than a cheap neck pillow as far as comfort or support is concerned. Definitely not an order of magnitude better (it was an order of magnitude more expensive). I also found it difficult to tighten enough with the cord, and it was bulky and hard to put on and remove, especially in a cramped airplane seat and more so with charging cables and earphone wires tangling in the pillow cord. It was one of the more comfortable pillows I’ve tried, though i still had neck cramps and too much pressure on my jaw. But, I expected something that was a big improvement considering the high price. Hard to blow up, hard to deflate, bulky. I tried it, traveled for a month and sadly missed the return date. It wasn’t terrible once it was inflated and on but it took so much to get that far that it wasn’t worth the effort. Do yourself a favor and try something else. Read more
