I’ve already traveled with it to Europe and within the U.S. (Spirit Airlines) and had no issues bringing it as a personal item — it fits perfectly under the seat. I grabbed two of these large travel backpacks—one for me, one for my husband—because apparently we like to pretend we’re professional jet-setters with way too many carry-ons. Honestly though, these bags turned out to be clutch for our international trip. They’re surprisingly roomy, super sturdy, and really easy to use. One of my favorite features? The handy luggage strap on the back that let me slide it right over my rolling suitcase handle. Instant travel upgrade. We even had one of those mad-dash, Home-Alone-airport moments thanks to a short connection, and being able to throw this pack on my back while sprinting through a terminal was basically a lifesaver (and slightly more graceful than dragging a second suitcase behind me). The zipper was a breeze to close—even after I stuffed this thing like a Thanksgiving turkey. The bag is lightweight, until of course you decide to cram your entire life inside. I managed to pack my laptop, tech pouch (mouse, headphones, chargers galore), two pairs of shoes (yes, one was heels, because priorities), a few full outfits, a small toiletry kit, and then some, all without breaking a sweat (or a seam). Bonus: it fit perfectly under the seat and in the overhead bins, so no awkward stuffing-and-shoving required. The media could not be loaded. I purchased 3 backpacks to compare for an international trip and this was the backpack I kept to use! It worked great and I absolutely love it. The shoe compartment was a lifesaver, the built-in storage pockets were great, and I recommend this bag as a good quality backpack at a great price. Some features that could be improved: side handle to carry bag like a briefcase, a key ring loop in the main pocket, a double zipper for the shoe compartment, and a 2nd cupholder (one on each side of the bag). I ended up attaching a carabiner to the shoe compartment zipper and then looping the compression strap through the carabiner to hold the compartment closed while I was using it. It was an easy solution that worked well. I used the laptop sleeve to hold postcards and my boarding passes so they didn't get crumpled up. My passport holder did not fit inside the mesh zippered pocket, but that wasn't much of an issue. The front-facing pocket on the top actually extends through the whole front of the backpack, including down behind the lower zippered pocket. It was great for fitting larger snacks! Read more

thankfully didn’t have any troubles on ryanair or other budget airlines as long as you don’t pack it to the brim where it’s super bulky. great storage compartments. was able to fit a few outfits and my toiletries with the help of packing cubes. not the most comfortable straps and such but i recommend for budget travel! These are the best travel backpacks ever! I’ve been searching everywhere, in store and online for a good backpack and couldn’t find anything comparable. I did a lot of research and this one had the best reviews. Before our trip, we debated on whether or not we needed a backpack to begin with, but being how cheap these were, I decided to make the purchase. We took an airplane that offered a free carry on and a personal item. The backpack was our personal item, fitting nicely under the Southwest Airlines seats. This backpack fit so much stuff in it. There are MANY pockets, even a water resistant pocket. I love how it zips open similar to a suitcase, for easier packing. I took advantage of the extra shoe compartment for my sandals. The most useful pocket to me is the hidden pocket on the back. We put all our passports/ID’s, money, etc in there. We took these backpacks on a 9 day vacation and they still look brand new. The colors are beautiful with a satin type feel. Anyway, I now see why this product has so many great reviews. Here’s to another! One thing to note is that there is a slight difference in sizing of some of the backpacks. We originally ordered a black one that we compared to a green one we got. The black one was smaller in size and was missing the charge port. We returned it for another. If you want a bigger/regular size, look for the backpacks with the charging ports. Read more

This backpack is great! I bought the aqua color for a one-week trip to Chiapas, where I carried it through airports, city streets, tour busses, and waterfalls. Obviously the light color is going to require some wipe down but nothing serious. Its capacity is fabulous and the luggage strap is a lifesaver. My only improvement suggestion would be another water bottle sleeve or other sleeve on the other side. It’d be great to have one more spot to hold stuff while rifling through for phone, passport, etc. Highly recommend this inexpensive and very functional bag! Read more

I'm a full time dog sitter and needed something that would hold up week to week changing houses. This is great and holds enough for about a week and a half. Zippers are doing well so far. I wish they had not made the one slip laptop pocket. It seems like a waste of space. Everything else I like. Color is more green but still a beautiful jewel tone. One of the reasons I wanted this is because a suitcase on wheels is really heavy when you're lugging it up a staircase. So for my visits a week or longer, this has been perfect to put on my shoulders. I had some questions and the seller was pretty awesome too. Great bag! Read more
