My face is now more red than it ever was - if you have sensitive skin don't do it

Made my face bright red, I am probably sensitive to one of the chemicals in this..I am returning it had to go to the Dermatologist after I used it. She gave me some ointment to use, and some steroid pills which I hate to use but 4 days later after using it my skin is still reddish, not quite as bad after going to the Dr. but no this either did not stop the sun from burning me or I am sensitive to the chemicals in it, the Dr. says it looks more like some allergic dermatitis.
