We love this sunscreen! With two boys who love to be outdoors, we needed a good quantity. I hate the little bottles- you know how you get your hands all greased up with the lotion and then have to squeeze the bottle again, and the sunscreen lathered hands make the bottle all slippery? The pump is soooo nice for that, and my 7 year old can now put on his own sunscreen. The quality itself is nice. Not greasy, easy on. We've been out for hours in the summer sun with good coverage. I even use it on the 1 year old who is still nice and pasty white and have recommended it to our daycare providers. I also want to add that this sunscreen is completely free of nut oils. As a parent of a child with a severe nut allergy, this is extremely important. Read more

We were looking for a daily SPF30 that would be easy to dispense, so we bought this large bottle of Rocky Mountain sunblock. It's a pleasure to use. Absorbs quickly. Not sticky at all. Seems 100% effective through 60 minutes in the pool and bright summer sun! Nice product, highly recommended. By the way, this large volume dispenser was near the least expensive SPF30 we considered buying. That's a plus, for sure! Read more

I use this sunscreen for my in home daycare. It's smooth and effective, and I appreciate that it's reef safe even though we're just in my backyard. It also rubs in easily and doesn't leave a white cast on darker skin. Read more

Initial review: The product inside the bottle is great, but the pumps will not work. I bought 2 bottles. Both had the pumps pop off the top of the screw on ring, and won't stay put. Further, they are almost impossible to prime the pump sprayer to actually get product to move through and spray, when you are able to keep the spray pump together. Followup: The seller/mfg did try to contact me, but didnt make it through whatever combination of spam filters exist. Their first replacement pumps didnt make it, but they sent them apparently. Seeing that the issue wasn't resolved, they sent another set of pumps that did make it, along with a nice note. So far, the replacement pump works and they did send a spare beyond that. Yay! I really like their product, it is some of the easiest to use out there - which means we use it. We just keep the bottle in the garage between bikes and cars, so we walk past it and remember to use it when loading up for whatever adventure is the day. Read more

I bought this because we went on a trip to Punta Cana and I knew we needed a LOT of sunblock. I had seen this at a playground as the sunblock they had the kids apply before recess and figured it couldn't hurt to try it. 10/10 I didn't get sunburnt, it's reef safe, and it was easy to just take one bottle in a checked bag than trying to squeeze in a bunch of little ones into a quart bag or having to buy it at the resort. We live at the shore all summer and just added a pool to our house. I had been stocking up on sunscreen every time we went to Costco, but with being out in the sun every single day, we went through it fast and we were spending a fortune on sunscreen. At the start of the 2018 summer season, I decided to look for a better option. I came across Rocky Mountain Sunscreen - Regular here on Amazon and purchased the quart size to give it a try. I have very, very sensitive skin (a list of contact allergies a mile long), and had resigned myself to breakouts and reactions with sunscreen. Not only does this NOT irritate my skin, it offers terrific protection, too. The quart was conveniently placed in our cabana, where it was easy to pump out and slather on. When it became apparent that we were blowing through the quart, I bought a gallon to replace it. Now the quart is in our bathroom, where I prefer to apply my sunscreen before I get in my bikini. We easily refill it from the gallon jug in the cabana. Because of the large size, my husband and I have both discovered that we're not putting it on sparingly, rather, we're adding a thick protective layer to our skin. We're teaching our daughter to do the same. He has commented several times that he has been more responsible about wearing sunscreen than ever before, because it's so convenient and protects so well. Both purchased a few weeks apart in June 2018, our quart has a 4/2020 expiration, the gallon 5/2020. Read more

Buy this for summer - better ingredients than grocery store brands - love the pump - makes it easier to apply. My kids bring friends over in the summer and this keeps them all protected. I have read that product lasts for 2 years and we used it up before then. Purchased this product for the last 15 years. Read more

I started using this stuff when the original owner years and years ago used to frequent the CORPS Mt. Bike circuit here in CO with a big gallon jug that participants could slosh on their product for free. I thought the world of the company then and now. They make a high quality product that works better than a lot of the boutique products out there that cost a lot more. The stuff goes on and absorbs pretty quickly. And it stays on through water, sweat, heat and activity. I'm a competitive runner, cyclist and triathlete - coming out of a swim, it still stays on my face and I don't need to reapply before the bike or the run. Everyone is different I guess, but for my money - this stuff is the only sunscreen I'll use - both in sport but also on my kids (check out the info / FAQ page on their website). The only complaint is that sometimes, it can cause eye irritation. But then again - so does sweat. You can avoid by being careful when applying above the eye brows. Read more
