Good Concept, But Didn’t Heat Food
I really liked the idea of this cordless electric lunch box, which is why I purchased two—one for my husband and one for me to take to work. Unfortunately, they did not warm our lunches at all. The heating element itself got hot, but the food never actually warmed up. At first, I thought maybe it was the type of food. One day I packed a sweet potato with meat and figured maybe that was too dense to heat properly. The next day, I packed soup thinking that would be easier to warm—but still nothing. Both times we had the food heating for over an hour with no real change in temperature. I carefully read and reread the instructions, tried different modes and heating times, and even used them plugged in as directed, but the result was the same. It’s a great concept, but in our experience, the product did not work as intended. For the amount I paid, it just wasn’t worth it. Read more
