I was looking for a unique desk lamp for a while and decided to take a chance on this little "man" lamp. I was a little hesitant about the price, but it's surprisingly well-made and absolutely worth the money. The main reason I'm writing this review is the design. It’s shaped like a little person with a moon for a head, and it just has so much more character than a boring, standard lamp. It’s made of real, solid wood, so it has a nice weight to it and looks like a small sculpture on my table. What really sells it, though, are the movable magnetic joints. It’s a fun little detail that you can pose him in different ways. I definitely bought it for its looks, but the lamp itself is great, too. The touch controls for dimming and changing the light's color temperature are responsive and easy to use. It’s one of those rare times where the product works just as well as it looks. When my friend received it and sent me a video, I realized the quality was even better than I expected. The coolest part is that you can just tap the head to change the light color, and if you press and hold, you can adjust the brightness. Since my friend often spends time alone at home, I thought this little lamp would make a fun companion in their daily life — and it really does. As a gift, it’s 100% worth it. The design is beautiful, the build quality is solid, and honestly, there’s nothing disappointing about it. What makes it extra fun is all the magnetic parts — my friend told me they like to play around and pose it in different ways when taking a break from work. One day my friend even forgot to turn it off before leaving the house, and when they came back after work, the lamp was still shining! I also asked them to show me how easy it is to put together, and they sent me a video — turns out it’s super simple to assemble and really fun to play with. Now I can’t wait to get one for myself. And as a bedside reading lamp, the brightness is more than enough. I also checked out the shop and saw lots of other creative lamps made with solid wood. It’s so cute!! Little bit bigger and even better than I anticipated. We work with kids that need fidgets / have sensory struggles and they love rubbing its head to move through the types of light, all of which are soft. I liked it so much I ordered another one. 100% worth the money. Read more

I love this lamp. Needed a lamp for a guest room nowhere near an outlet, so love the cordless/rechargeable feature. I was a little worried the head might fall off since it's held on by a magnet. Magnets on the hands were missing so the hands just dangled. It didnt charge and the lights hardly responded to sometimes rougher taps. It is cute cute, and I tried to get it swapped out but couldn’t get to a customer service. So I sent him back. If it was easier to swap out I would have done that but it wasn’t an option on Amazon (either that or it wasn’t visible) and I couldn’t get through to CS. Maybe another time. Read more
