I ordered this to use on my covered patio. I have to use battery-powered lights because there are few electrical outlets. During the day, this faux tulip arrangement adds some color. The flowers look very realistic and the sturdy stems can be bent for a nice arrangement. At night, the touch lamp is easy to use with dimming and color temperature settings for just the right mood. I like the glowing ambient light it givers off. The rechargeable battery lasts for hours - I've been able to use it each evening for over a week between charges. The media could not be loaded. I am so surprised at just how much I love this little tulip light. I wasn't too sure about it, but others' reviews peaked my interest and so I figured I'd give it a shot, and I am very happy I did! It is absolutely beautiful! In all honesty, I thought it was going to look cheap and almost "tchotchke" like, but in person it is actually delicate looking, sparkly, and uniquely charming. I have never seen a light like this, where the base lights up all the little crystals, making them sparkle, and the flowers themselves light up, too. The little button on the side is very easy to operate and the operation of the lights is extremely responsive. A light touch goes from a warm, cozy light on the first setting, a cooler temperature color light on the second setting, and a combo of the cool and warm lights to make a little bit brighter light on the third setting. My favorite is the first setting which I guess would be considered "low," because the warm tone of the lights looks best with the warm tone of the yellow orange tulips. And even better, if you hold the button down (instead of a touch/tap), the light will dim to a very soft glow on whichever of the three settings you choose. This little light is the perfect size too....it can easily take a spot on a shelf, counter, guest bathroom, or guest bedroom without looking too "over the top." I love how petite and simple the little bouquet of flowers are. Another plus is that it is easily rechargeable and there is no annoying power cord strewn across the counter. It is simply perfect, and I am so happy I decided to get it. I smile every time I look at it, with or without the lights! Anyone who loves beautiful, feminine, elegant things should love to receive this as a gift, as I am planning to do for a few special people in my life. This Tulip Flower Lamp is one of those rare gems that is exactly as advertised. When I took this lamp (and it’s included charging cord) out of the box, I noticed how solid and well made it is, and also that it was just as beautiful as portrayed. Exactly as advertised, if you will. The small touch activated button on the front allows you to change the color temperature of the base light, but not the flowers. The lights in the flowers are kind of perfect, though, so that doesn’t bother me in the slightest. One thing I found by accident is that you can kind of arrange the flowers. Not really arrange, but...I’m not sure what to call it. When we got the lamp, one of the tulips was bent over. My husband said he thought it wasn’t supposed to be like that but I thought it was just character or individuality or whatever. It didn’t look bad so I wasn’t worried about it. Before I wrote this I thought I’d better check it out, though, so I gently tried to bend the flower to make it straight and, as it turns out, he was right and I was happily wrong. You CAN move the flowers (within reason, of course). Now, I don’t know if they’re MEANT to be moved, but just a nice little bit of information to be aware of.
