The product does get very warm, almost hot, perfect temp. The 1st thing you need to do when receive product is charge it . When plugged in, the flame icon will turn red. its charging! Wait until the flame icon turns green. Its fully charged! Can take 3 hours for full charge. Turn on product by holding the flame icon until it lights up, its on now. Default warmest setting. Press flame icon again it goes blue (low heat setting). Press flame icon again it goes green (med heat setting). I have done a test with just the heat feature on only (flame icon red) with a full charge. Over 2 hours it last! Test also with flame icon red and massage on (really a vibration) and charge lasted 1.5 hours. This item works well. It can keep my hand warm and the vibration will be useful for reliving some aches. It can fit both hands nicely so I can alternate it. I also applied it to other parts of my body like my neck and helped on its problems. It is nice that it has a battery in it so I do not have to stay plugged in to the wall. The heat and vibration did help on a lot of muscle aches as well. The cost is reasonable as it is not cheap but not expensive, especially what it has going into it.
