In hindsight, I'm not sure what I was expecting with these pants. Whatever it was, it's not that as I was surprised when I got these. I ordered the army green color and it's exactly as you'd expect from the name. I also ordered the XL. When I ordered, there was no size chart, and I don't recall ordering from this brand before. Normally, in bottoms, I wear a size 14. I have a soft, squishy apron belly but that's about it. In Amazon items, often the XL is a 16/18 so I figured that would be a safe bet since I was guessing. I was wrong. The XL is probably a size 12. They fit in my waist but is snug around the hip/my belly area. I will have a muffin top, for sure! That being said, unless they post a size chart, size up from your normal size. Or, if you are 14 with flat belly, order the XL. If you have a belly and are a 14, size up to the XXL. I can't speak on the smaller sizes but again, the XL is probably a 12, slim fit 14. I'm also short at 5'3" and these are a perfect length on me. PERFECT. It falls just below my ankles, above the soles of my feet. If you are my height or shorter (or shorter legs), these will be great. If you are tall, don't even bother get these pants. These are short girl friendly only. They're not overly wide leg on me. I'm guessing that's due to how they fit me (snug around the hips, relaxed in the seat and relaxed in the legs). I actually like this better than a true wide leg. The button is just a plain metal (a bit thin) button. The elastic back of the waist is needed (again, my fit issues). The back pockets are purely for decoration. The front pockets sit in the front so there's no bulging at the sides, thankfully. The material is a faux corduroy. I didn't expect this. I took a picture of the material inside, which is different from the outside (I took a close up of this as well). It feels nice against the skin, but the pants are thin. Unlike a real corduroy pant, these will not keep you warm in cold weather. That being said, the pants are $20. It's not a terrible deal. My only issue is the fit (and the lack of size chart), but I can still wear them and they look nice. The color is great, the length is perfect for me, and they're somewhat comfortable. Read more

These pants are ok. They actually have the potential to be a really cute pair of pants, but I think they are sized weird. I think that we are all funny-built in our own way. Very few people have perfect bodies. My funny built features are that I have a long torso with short legs, and I have a big booty and thighs, and a small waist. These pants should be very flattering on me. They should emphasize my good features while hiding my bad ones. They don't. They seem to fit ok everywhere until we get to the waist. And then they are very tight. Very tight. I've always had a flat tummy, and the way these come up so high and are so tight, it looks like I have a "front-butt". I ordered a small (I usually wear a size 6), and I wouldn't want to go any bigger because I don't think they'd fit correctly anywhere else if I went up a size. I have never in my life had a pair of pants that were too small in the waist and fit everywhere else. I usually have the opposite problem. Also, they come up pretty high. I don't know how someone who doesn't have an extra-long torso would wear them. Quite frankly, I don't think high-waisted pants are flattering on anyone, and I don't know why they came back in style. These pants looks like they are corduroy material, feels soft and they are as advertised. The fit is true to size and the legs are wide, cropped and beautiful. I think the color is rich, british tan color, clean look with front pockets in the front hip area and pockets on the back side. Elastic is on the back waist band and the stretch is minimal. They have a zipper and button closure like jeans and the build is similar to a regular pair of pants, but fancier material and feel. They are price just right, will be great work pants, but also can pass as a great pair of casual pants that can be worn through the spring months. Lovely pair of pants. Read more
