This mug does exactly what it says it will do and does it very well. It keeps things hot or cold a little beyond the times in the listing and does a great job of it. It's easy to handle. This mug keeps hot drinks hot for three hours, which is plenty of time to sip coffee, and it keeps cold drinks cold for nine hours. I didn't put any ice in my drink in this mug, as it stayed very cold all by itself. I don't like to leave home without ice water, so this feature was wonderful for me. The mug is made of stainless steel and will last a good long time with proper care. It's easy to clean. Excellent product that does exactly what the listing says it will do and does a great job of doing it. You won't find a better insulated travel mug. I use mine all the time at home now, since I keep ice water with me all day long, and it never, ever fails to stay cold. My first thought about this item was why is the price more than $30 for a travel mug that is the size of a cup of coffee when you can get a large travel mug for half the price. The design and quality of this mug is much better than anything out there and even though it is only 12 ounces, it is worth the money. They designed this very well from the steel that is used which is thicker than other mugs that are marketed as steel, it has a mat finish so it is less slippery than the smoother finished mugs. It also has flattened sides so it is easier to hold than something that is rounded. Other mugs are typically painted, so if you take it to work every day or put it in the dishwasher a lot, the paint chips off. The finish on this mug appears to be baked into the steel, so it should not have the chipping problem. I like that it has a nice rubber bottom to keep it from sliding, other mugs typically have a plastic bottom. And finally, it has a clear lid so you can see inside rather than a black plastic lid that is most common. So you get a lot for the price, similar to the old Thermos coffee tumblers that were popular into the 1990's, but are difficult to find these days. Read more
