Casual Gaming/ Upgraded Work Mouse

George ReidFebruary 12, 2025

As a casual PC gamer and someone who works on a computer at home, I wanted to upgrade my mouse. On the good end, It's a clear upgrade over a typical office mouse. As someone with a large hand, it's comfortable in my hand with either a flat or arched grip. (However, I can see someone with small hands believing that the mouse is too big.) The mouse speed/DPI is also easily controlled with a few button presses (and can be customized in the app). I don't use the fastest setting (24000 DPI) as my eyes struggle to keep up, but the slower DPI options help with situations where I need precision over speed (e.g.: photography editing). While other gaming mice have more available buttons for hardcore gamers and macro users, the two side buttons are nice for other apps and programs. The iCUE software has a slight learning curve, but the potential customizations can make life significantly easier across multiple apps. My only complaint is the lack of a built-in rechargeable battery or a USB charging option, but using a rechargeable NiMH AA battery solves that issue. Overall, I am very satisfied with my purchase. Good left-handed mouse alternative

RamaAugust 26, 2020

I have lateral epicondylitis (tennis elbow) which is a repetitive stress injury related to mouse use. I bought this to use as a secondary left-handed mouse to give my right arm frequent breaks. I tried 3 other mice including ergonomic mice, vertical mice, and even a graphics pad, and so far this is the only thing that has worked for me. I was able to set up the alternate buttons via the Corsair iCUE software and can flawlessly use 2 mice at the same time. I have a Razer for my full time gaming mouse, and the M55 as my backup work mouse (or simpler games that involve basic mouse clicks). The profile is decent, the mouse wheel is notched, the overall texture is good, and the side grips are great. It's slightly long for my hand (female so smaller hands). Read more

Overall, Very frustrated with this purchase and regret buying it.

Simply Laura & Co.November 5, 2019

Update: 4 stars from 1: Amazon replaced my lemon mouse and the replacement works MUCH better! NO complaints so far, and none of the issues below. Item is defective. Extra mouse buttons rarely work, requiring frequent computer restarts to get the buttons to work for another 15 minutes or so. Mouse does not save your preferred "Speed" making it so you have to choose the setting each time. For $30, I would choose something else if I were to do it over again. Mouse also has connectivity issues when plugged into Corsair mouse pad and I had to plug it directly into the back of my computer, where it still has issues. Amazon wants me to send the mouse back, but unfortunately, I don't have the original packaging nor a mouse to use in the meantime. I use this mouse on my home desktop for gaming and other various tasks. Overall, Very frustrated with this purchase and regret buying it. Read more

Great addition

BrandoJuly 11, 2023

It was a great changeout from my old one. This one compliments my keyboard as well. There is an app you can download on your computer to change the colors of it. It glides smoothly and the reaction time on this mouse is great. Read more

Faulty Hardware or Software - Buyer Beware

BrandonJuly 8, 2025

Picked this up having been the ONLY piece in my hardware set-up that was not Corsair. Their mouse line tends to be overpriced by comparison to their primary competitors such as Logitech. Found it on sale ~3 months back and decided to pull the trigger on the purchase. Structurally, great. Feel, great. Response times, great. "So why 1 star?" This things doesn't just consume batteries, it is a blackhole of battery use. It is not a user issue. I have flashed the firmware multiple times, adjusted settings to the lowest possible consumption, leveraged (and attempted not leveraging) the Power Save Modes, etc. All of this and it has still gone through 6 batters in these 3 months. For reference, the Logitech G305 which is the equiv from that company experiences about 1 battery change every 1.5 years for the same level of use. If it does not course correct over today's complete reset of firmware, setting adjustments, and Device Memory Mode adjustments, it is back to Logitech. If I could return it at this point, I would. --- 07/28 update. I had replaced a battery the day this review was written which is already dead. --- Read more

As of now…

Mom of 2 ♥︎August 16, 2022

I got the mouse today and so I love it. My only complaint that it makes the palm of my hand feel awkward but I’ll probably get used to it. I have smaller hands than most people and this is not a small mouse but something about it’s shape makes it easier for me to grip to. I’ve played destiny with it and it’s been working great on that game. Before I was using a Naga trinity that slipped out my hand a lot and didn’t always respond when I clicked. If any of my feelings change I’ll be back to update my review. Read more

Hooked up again

Inger FSeptember 16, 2019

I have been using several wireless. They always stop working and do their own thing: does not click, click twice instead of once etc. this one I hope will work better. Time will tell. what I've noticed already though is something that can be the fault of my computer as well as the mouse is that the mouse does not always come on when I turn on the computer. that is probably a computer problem though.
