this keyboard is amazing, truly. i got the purple keys and they feel and sound so awesome. i love typing this review right now on this keyboard, it feels so good. the only downside is that it doesnt use icue yet... the customization method is pretty cool though, you dont need to download anything, you just go onto corsair's website and it connects directly to the keyboard to customize its coloration, patters, keys, all the other intricate features along with the picture on the little screen which is pretty cool... you can upload whatever picture or little video you want? nice touch. i got it only sale for black friday so it was very worth it. 10/10 Read more
It feels great, it's responsive, and comfortable. It's honestly one of the best keyboards I've gotten my hands on. It being a 96% also saves a surprising amount of desk space. Will be buying another as a gift for my partner. Read more
Works good, doesn't currently work with ICUE. Need to use the Corsair Online page to even edit it. Cable that came with the keyboard is far shorter than their older wired keyboards. Wish it came with a longer one than risk it with some 3rd part USB C Cable. The frame is also slightly bent, so it wobbles. Key caps quality is much nicer than the k70. Wrist rest is this plastic leather, I worry of how it'll last in the years to come but it attachment via magnets take worry out of my mind when taking it off. The screen is novile, though I don't have much use for the elgato keys, I might find some use in the future if I get back into streaming. Also it does not have a USB Port in the back for peripherals. Only a USB C port to plug it in under it. Shame. Read more
this keyboard sounds great, feels great and is pretty solid (not quite as solid as the old aluminum body model corsair I was replacing it with, but nice). Getting used to the key layout still (who knew I reached for right control so often?). I'm deducting a star because the gkey programming doesn't have all the macro features that the previous one had. (notably no keyboard repeating) so I haven't been using the gkeys at all. Read more
Love the way this keyboard sound, build quality is amazing, sadly this keyboard is to new for signal rgb to support it and Icue doesn't support it yet but the web portal works really well. It took me just a few moments of playing with it to get it all setup but 9 0ut of 10, will say 10 out of 10 when signaledrgb and Icue gain support Read more
After trying a linear keyboard for a few years I decided to go back to tactile switches. I like to rest my fingers on my keycaps and on linear switches this led to me accidentally pressing buttons all the time. Got the tactile version of the Vanguard 96 and the keys sound so smooth when typing. I love that I can also upload personal photos to customize the keyboard as my very own. Today is November 2025 I expect to use this keyboard for many years and will come back to update this review if durability does not hold well long-term. Read more
