A little bit on the bassy side of sound, but it's otherwise very high-quality. Music, games, movies, and even calls sound wonderful in it. I can't say the same for the microphone that comes in with one of the cables, as it tended to have a lot of white noise. Otherwise, the microphone was clear and my calls were audible with some noise cancellation, albeit it sucks to need that. The headset's comfortable enough to wear all day, as the cups are soft and the headband is quality. The cable length is great, but I wish it was a tad little longer for my case as my PC is under my desk and the cable barely reaches the headset on my head when seated a tad too far away from my desk. One of the cables also didn't last very long, as I had to switch to the other after half a year(?) of using it. Speaking of which, props to Corsair for bringing a mic cable and a non-mic cable for the headset. I love the simplicity of the headset - pure 3.5mm analog connection and no volume slider to worry about, like most other headphones. The VIRTUOSO was a solid buy. Read more

I've been using the Corsair Virtuoso Pro headset for months now, and I can honestly say it's one of the best headsets I've ever owned. The sound quality is truly phenomenal the audio is so crisp and clear, making every detail pop. As someone who has always used closed-back headphones, this is my first experience with an open-back headset, and I absolutely love it. The design allows me to hear my surroundings more easily, which is great for staying aware of my environment, while the audio itself has a natural, expansive quality that's incredibly immersive. Despite being an open-back design, I've found that it barely leaks any sound, which is a huge plus. The versatility of this headset is fantastic, as it works amazingly with both my PC and my Xbox Series X. It comes with a mic attachment, which is a great bonus. The mic sounds pretty good for what it is, but for my primary use, I stick with my dedicated PC microphone. The build quality is top-notch, and the headset feels very premium and durable. Comfort is another major highlight. I've spent countless hours gaming and studying while listening to music, and the generous padding on the earcups and headband makes it one of the most comfortable headsets I've ever worn. I can wear it for extended periods without any fatigue. Seriously, every aspect of this headset is five stars in my book. I would 100% recommend it to anyone looking for a high-quality, comfortable, and versatile audio experience. Read more

Audio quality is good, however the build quality and forward thinking isn't quite there. As an open back headset the audio bleeds through to the microphone even around 30% volume so you'll need to find a software solution for that. On top of that, my headset snapped open where the headset extends into the plastic while putting them on this morning. The plastic encasing broke open from the inside. I take good care of my equipment and my headsets almost always die from wear and tear and not from damage, so this seems like a THEM problem. Model: Virtuoso Pro wired General use: Work, gaming & discord averaging 12 hours a day. Headset survived: 1 month and 10 days. I will be avoiding Corsair in the future. For $140 I expect to get at minimum 2 years out of my headset minimum. Huge miss. Read more

Considering the price of this headset, I am a bit disappointed with the range of connectivity for these wireless headphone with the USB dongle. I have owned a ASTRO A20's Wireless headset (w/ USB dongle) and I am able to walk freely around my 1000sq ft house with minimal cut of audio. However with these headphones, audio cuts out almost completely once you move out of visible sight of the dongle, i.e. another room. Disappointing for a headset that is 2-3x the price. That said, the audio quality is nice and clear. The ability to use Dolby Atmos to customize your audio levels and quality is superb. The headset fits larger heads well, and the ear cups fabric is comfortable. It doesn't feel too foamy or uncomfortable like mean other cheaper options. It feels comparable to Astro headsets ear cups I've had before (A20, A40, & A50). One other problem I have is with the volume control. It is hard to adjust to reach and adjust when wearing the headset. Feels like the control should have been put at the bottom, instead of near the top and on the inside. I usually have to take off the headset to adjust the volume. Read more

I have the wired Pro version, it sounds pretty good, but you have to push them to 70 or 80 percent. The bass is good for open back. The mids and high sound muffled a little. The headset shines at higher power, amp or EQed.Comfortable, nope the clamping is too tight. Thats easy to fix, just let it clamp on overnight on a shoe box. The mic on it is clear, but the wire can cause noise from rubbing your shirt. Overall great sounding set. Read more
