Ever since I got my first air fryer, I have always appreciated the convenience and health benefits to having such a wonderful "tool" in our kitchen. I use it OFTEN, most generally three to four times a week. My "trusty" ai fryer finally bit hte dust. After having gone to a nearby well-known electronic and home appliance store, I simply didn't like the selections that was being offered in the store itself. I came home frustrated and began to look on Amazon for options. After having perused the various air fryers, I settled on this one, and zeroing in on its features, and more importantly, the reviews left by other Amazonites! It's definitely important to me, just exactly what others think of these products and it most definitely plays a role as to whether or not I move ahead and buy. In this case, one thing that sold me on this one is its Wifi-based access via the VeSync app. It helps me tremendously being able to set up the air fryer before I even start to cook my food in it. Oftentimes, my vision does not allow for me to just walk up to the unit and start tapping away. It's easier for me to use the app. THus far, I cannot say enough, just how much I appreciate this air fryer. Easy to use, easy to clean. This is an item that every home should have! This is by far one of the best kitchen appliances I came across. It looks good in the kitchen, and does exactly what it promises. I would call it a smart food preparer, because it does more than air frying . There are so many different functions and it cooks my food very well at whatever temperature crunch or non-crunch I need it to be. I have had it for more than a year if not two and still going strong. I simply line it with a piece of Reynold’s Wrap foil paper, spray the sheet with a little Pam when I am preparing chicken, seafood, steak, veggies, and much more different types of foods. You can do a whole lot with this Cosori air fryer. It’s more than a fryer. You can reheat, roast, bake, broil , fry and much more. Do your frozen with it. It keeps your food warm for some time and so much more . I was able to connect it to my Amazon Alexa, it’s moderately quiet. In my opinion, this capacity holds a lot of foods for a family of six to eight. The smell will not readily go through your house when cooking as when you’re using the regular stove top. Sometimes you could skip the microwave and use this item instead. It worth every pennie I had invested in getting this Air Fryer. You will never regret this buy. I'm not a chef, or even a cook. So understand that I know very little about cooking. Nevertheless, this machine has brought me one smile after another. I started with a toaster oven air fryer last year and had some success, until it died within a year. Much research later, I switched to this traditional basket-style air fryer. It has several settings for pre-set temperature and time that can easily be adjusted to my guesses of what might work. I bought the accessories package for it, so my references to everything other than the crisper (which comes with the machine) refer to the accessories. My first attempt was a piece of left-over poached cod, Air Fryer setting for about 4 minutes. The fish came out slightly crispy on top and marvelously still moist inside. The next night I placed a chunk of ham steak on liner paper (cut to size so it wouldn't flap and possibly hit the coils) on the crisper rack with foil at the bottom. Steak setting at the default time. Succulent! Crispt! Delicious! (Turns out I didn't need the liner paper because the rack is SOOOOO easy to clean, as is everything else, using a SOFT sponge. Today I made a ham & bleu cheese open-faced sandwich in the pizza pan resting on the metal rack on Broil for 3 minutes. Perfect! Yesterday, fried egg on toast. First, bread on skewer rack for toast. Then fried egg (in the pizza pan resting on the skewer rack) and ham (on the skewer rack shelf) using the VeSync cell-phone software at 360 (adjusted) for 6 minutes. Perfect fried egg and ham on toast! Another time, lamb chops at Air Fryer setting, placed on crisper rack set over foil on the basket bottom. Juicy! Note: the toast comes out cooked just as if from a toaster, except not browned (unless butter or oil used-which I avoid and the main reason I use an air fryer...) or grill marks. Just wish there were a 2-shelf rack. Oh - the company told me that the silicone mat that comes with the accessories is for something to place the hot items on coming out of the fryer. But I use it at the bottom of the basket when using the metal rack or skewer rack so as not to scratch the basket's finish. I LOVE this machine. Read more
