I bought this cleanser on May 27, 2016 from JOLSE (it arrived in 1-2 weeks), and I've been using it every morning since I've gotten it. I initially thought that this cleanser was ineffectual, but, this cleanser has actually done my skin wonders. Before using it, I would get several large pimples (not terribly bad, but annoying acne nonetheless) every week, and I would constantly be annoyed by some kind of acne flareup during the week -- but once I started using this cleanser, I haven't gotten any so far! I still get small pimples, but definitely not as many and definitely not the same intensity as before. I believe that using this every morning has definitely contributed to my clearer skin and I highly recommend it. I use around a 1/2 inch long squeeze from the tube and rub it between my fingertips until it foams/lathers up into a nice amount of bubbles and then apply it to my face in swirling circular motions. Unlike most other cleansers I've used, the CosRx Salicylic Acid Exfoliating Cleanser does not feel drying after washing it off, my face feels clean, but not stripped. As for the exfoliation part, it is a chemical exfoliation but it is very mild and gentle, not harsh. Ibought one for my friend, but... I'll think I'll keep it for myself! I've got obscenely oily skin, cystic acne at my jawline, and random smaller whiteheads that will pop up anywhere on my face. This Cosrx Salicylic Acid Daily Gentle Cleanser is exactly what it says it is, it's gentle enough for daily cleansing. I have very sensitive / reactive skin and I tend to have issues with skincare but this product works great for me. I saw a noticeable difference in the cystic acne at my jawline within two weeks, and with continued use, I haven't had any more flare-ups, thank goodness!!! I typically use this in the shower with my Foreo Luna 2. I'll wet my hands then get a small amount of cleanser, about the size of a dime, and rub it together in my palms then apply to my face. When I'm done with that I'll apply what's left on my left hand to my right arm and vice versa for my keratosis pilaris, this is something I've just recently started so I'm not sure if it's helping or not but I'm sure it's not hurting. Then I'll grab my Luna 2 and clean my face, then rinse generously with water on my face and arms then finish my normal shower routine. Pat dry when done then go straight to my skincare routine while still damp. The scent is odd, I don't even know what I'd compare it to, but it's not offputting where I wouldn't want to use the product and I LOVE that this brand is fragrance-free so I know I can use everything they offer! My only complaint is that the price is a little high ($10) for the amount of product (5.07 oz) that's included, but I'd give it 4.5 stars if I could. Read more

I have combination skin, leaning towards oily. I used to use 5% salicylic acid and it would dry out my skin more than it should. I started using this cleanser that uses half as much and at first it was hard because it appears that my skin became dependent on the higher dosage but now that I'm only using this one it's been doing a lot better. It doesn't "clean" as much but i use a toner along with it and it's the perfect match. This is really a perfect medium. Perfect for twice everyday, not drying. Thick consistency, creamy, and lathers very well. Oh but don't put it on your lips and more sensitive areas, it's very drying for those areas. It helps for acne but its not gentle enough for a daily cleanser. It is actually a little exfoliating and 3x a week is better for your skin barrier. Using it everyday made my skin worse. I fully replaced it with a different cleanser and occasionally will use it since i have so much left. Was good for my oily skin though and a little goes a long way. Read more
