These Luna Nueva sunglasses from Costa are the best sunglasses I've ever owned. The styling is sharp and the tortoise shell frames look awesome with the brown lenses. The gold Costa logo on the side is a nice touch that matches the hardware. My favorite part of these sunglasses is the adjustable nose pads. You can get these adjusted professionally to really fit well, like a pair of prescription glasses. The polarized lenses are great for every day wear and make a big difference with any glare. I only heard of this company because they make really good quality t-shirts, I was not expecting their sunglasses to be such high quality - but they are. The polarization is really good, they have a nice blueish tint to them. The shape and style is spot on and I would guess that they compliment most facial shapes and sizes. I ordered these sunglasses in the tortoise/gold color. The color is pretty and I have already received several compliments on them. The style is very flattering on my face. They are good looking but aren't the comically large style of glasses that are in fashion lately. The wrap around style helps to keep unwanted sunlight from shining into the sides. I like that they have nose pads (most wrap around styles from other brands I have found don't). My nose sweats in the heat, and these nose pads prevent the glasses from slipping down. Overall they are very comfortable. I'm a "label girl", so I appreciate the gold logo on the temple arms. The polarized lenses have been extremely helpful in the snowy midwest. They increase visibility and cut down on the glare from bright sun on the snow. They are now my first choice and the ones I reach for when driving on sunny and/or snowy days. The case that comes with the sunglasses is top notch. I like that it is lightweight, so it doesnt add a bunch of weight to my handbag, but is also sturdy enough that I am confident the sunglasses are well protected in the case. I absolutely jumped atthe chance to order these sunglasses. A year or two ago I had an opportunity to get a pair of men’s Costa Del Mar sunglasses. They have held up so beautifully that I was excited for the chance to get a pair of women’s glasses too! They really are beautifully made. I got them in the torte gold mirror. I think this looks great with brown, blonde or red hair. The design is simple and classic. I have a larger head, so ordering sunglasses online can be a problem. This pair came comfortably sized and doesn’t squeeze my head. The nose pads are comfortable too. The plastic of the frame seems a little bit lightweight, but I haven’t seen any trouble with their wear and tear yet. I’m hoping they will be a wonderful pair for years to come. That is helped by the fact that they come in a very nice hard sided case with a cleaning cloth. I’m careful to put them away safely so they don’t get crushed or scratched. Costa Del Mar is one of those brands I already trust, and these Luna Nueva sunglasses are exactly why. The design feels dialed. Not loud, not trendy in a way that will age fast, just sharp and intentional. I went with the black and they look good the second you put them on. The 580P lenses are the real star here. Glare drops way down, especially around water and snow, and everything looks crisper without feeling dark or flat. Long drives, bright days, winter sun, they handle all of it. Eye fatigue is noticeably lower, which is what I expect from Costa. Fit is easy and comfortable. They sit well, don’t slide around, and don’t pinch behind the ears. The shape works on different faces and doesn’t feel oversized or fussy. You can wear these all day and forget about them, which is kind of the point. The included case and microfiber are a nice touch too. The case has structure and actually protects the lenses in a bag instead of getting crushed. This feels like classic Costa Del Mar.
