I just experienced my first night with my new sheets and had to race to the computer in my pajamas to write a review immediately. OMG these sheets are MAGICAL. I have never slept like that before. I have never been that comfortable before. Just WOW. Earlier this week my idiot cat ruined all of my bedding. So I had to buy all new bedding, which did not make me happy. Let's just say I was looking for the cheapest of the cheap in my search. The ONLY thing I was hoping for was a set of sheets that didn't look like a wrinkled mess on the bed. I have had the worst luck with sheets. I think I've bought at least 50 sets in the last 20 years and haven't liked any of them. I've tried different materials, different thread counts. Hate all of them, either in looks, fit, or comfort. But these...these are the holy grail of sheets. As soon as the UPS man showed up with them I put them in the washer and dryer and then onto my bed they went. NO WRINKLES. They looked perfect! So right then and there I was ready to write my 5 star review. I wanted nice looking wrinkle-free sheets and that's what I got. Mission accomplished. I didn't think about the sheets for the rest of the day and honestly forgot I had put them on at all until I went to bed last night. As soon as I slid into the covers I let out an audible "OMG". At first I was afraid to move, in case what I was experiencing wasn't real and moving would somehow wake me up from my awesome fantasy of happy comfort. Once I started stretching out and really letting myself get a good feel, I was dying of happy. I feel like I ripped this company off. There is no way I really only paid 35 bucks for sheets this nice, right? Is it a glitch on Amazon? Did they accidentally send me super special $200 sheets instead of the cheap ones I ordered? I didn't have much time to consider these possibilities because I was out like a light within seconds of my head hitting the pillow. I slept like a rock all night. That was the best night of sleep I have had in years. I woke up this morning with thoughts of "nooooo....don't let it be over!!" The only reason I was able to actually drag myself out of bed was because I was excited to log onto Amazon ASAP and tell someone what I just experienced. I realize most of the reviews on here are left by people who got a discount, so I honestly wasn't expecting much out of these sheets. I personally did NOT get a discount. I paid full price. Was it worth every penny? Absolutely. And for a set of king sheets, $35 is not expensive at all. It may be the least I've ever spent on sheets. I cannot testify to the durability of this sheet set because I've only had it for 1 night, but what I will say is even if they are somehow torn to shreds within a month, I'll just come back and buy them again because now I can't live without them. Just a couple other things people might want to know -I have a mattress about as thick and plush as you can buy. It's annoyingly huge. The sheets fit it PERFECTLY, better than any other set of sheets has ever fit it. -The pillowcases were slightly too big for my king pillows (which are also brand new). So either my king pillows are too short or these pillowcases are too wide. It only slightly annoys me that the ends of the pillowcases are limp because they don't fit right. Again, don't know if it's my pillows or the pillowcases with the problem. -I used snuggle fabric softener when I washed the sheets. That may or may not have enhanced their softness. Either way, I ALWAYS use snuggle fabric softener on my sheets, and none of my other sheets ever came out this soft. -They are super soft, but it's not that sort of satin soft where if you have the slightest bit of dry skin on your feet it's snagging against it all night long. It's more like a plush stuffed animal/favorite blankey type of soft and your skin just glides against it. So now that I've got that review out of my system, I can carry on with my day. Update to the update: I contacted customer service via email. I received a very courteous and professional response within the hour, and they are sending a new set of sheets (which I didn't even ask for.) They certainly go above and beyond when it comes to the resolution of issues. I'm upping my star rating simply because I feel much better about purchasing from this company again now that I know how proactive and pleasant they are when dealing with customers. Update: after being washed, the corner of the sheet ripped as I was putting it on the bed. Easily a four-inch tear that rendered these sheets unusable. As a writing teacher, I live and die by the feedback rule of "two positives before a negative." With that in mind, I'll say these sheets are very soft and comfortable; they are also true to the color shown in the picture. Now. I've always considered myself a reasonably intelligent woman. I mean, I'm not doing recreational Euclidean Geometry or anything, but I never imagined I'd be stymied by a fitted sheet (aside from folding one, but to be fair, no one can do that without some irritation.) However, I spent a solid ten minutes trying to make this fitted sheet work. It was like being stuck in a cartoon; pull down one side, watch the other side snap up and away from the mattress. I thought maybe the fact I have an inured shoulder and can only use one arm was a contributing factor. It wasn't. Even with help, I couldn't get the fitted sheet to fit snugly over the mattress. Finally, at a loss, I started looking at the elastic. This sheet has the elasticity of a very old, very worn sheet. It's as though the elastic was never actually gathered at all; it has no grip. I like these sheets. They fit my new deep queen size mattress. The material is very thin compared to my old sheets but I’m happy with material. Washed and dried (on low heat) nicely. I just ordered a 2nd set. Read more
