I think they run a little short. I returned the first pair and got a size larger. They are so cozy on my feet. Soft inside and warm; I do not think they will get too warm, but more warm than socks. My feet have the tendency to get cold. I love the gripper sole. You won't slip, but you won't stumble like rubber soles. If you have any condition that prevents you picking your feet high enough, at times rubber soles can cause you to stumble. For the price, you can't beat it. Fit true to size, I wear a 12 and ordered a 12. They are attractive and are warmer than sox alone. My home office is in a 3 season rooom and the floor would freeze my feet even with sox. These bridged the gap and added enough to keep my feet warm all day on a cold floor. The first few hours I wore them they felt sleightly tight but they streached to a perffect custom fit before the end of day 1. These are awesome. My feet have been cold since I was five years old. I cannot walk around barefoot or even in stocking feet and need slippers.
