This cold weather sleeping bag is comfortable and warm. I did not try surviving 45F that it claims a rating too, thats too cold for me these days even with a cozy sleeping bag. This bag is much less fluffy than the pictures, even after being out of its sack for a couple weeks. However, it is spacious and the inside is soft to the touch and comfortable. I put this in kind of an average sleeping bag category. It's a good quality build and nice material, nothing I would run and shout about, but for the price it's a reasonably sleep bag for adults. Even with teh dogs bumping into the ironing board, the stable base kept it from tipping over while I was repositioning a sleeve. I bought this for a Cub Scout camping trip with my son, fully expecting another miserable night of sleep. The rating says it's good for "all seasons," but this is definitely a spring/fall bag. If it dips below 40 degrees, you’re going to be chilly without extra layers. Considering the price, this sleeping bag isn't too bad. The layering on the bottom side of the mat is decent. It provides protection from semi-sharp rocks on a gravel driveway. But I wouldn't count on it to provide much on more rough terrain. The interior lining provides a good amount of thermal insulation at temps over roughly 40 degrees. Overall, if you're going to a designated campsite or somewhere that isn't too cold or rough, I'd say this is a pretty good sleeping bag for the price. Read more
