This weighted blanket is just what I was looking for to help with morning anxiety. It is big enough to cover my upper body, feeling like a hug. The weight is noticeable, but not suffocating. The weight is evenly distributed due to it's design, so you don't have to worry about all the weight spilling to one side when it moves. This also makes it easy to fold. It can get warm from your body heat, but I have not notice it make me uncomfortably hot, even when used under blankets. The texture is soft and feels good on the skin, and also feels strong and durable. To help with early morning anxiety, I place this on my chest/stomach at bedtime. I love this little blanket. I call it my turtle shell. It's just enough to give me the weighted blanket feel without being a heavy burden. I use it to calm my restless legs and comfort my anxiety. I can easily pick this blanket up from the floor and move it around the bed unlike my queen-sized weighted blanket that tends to fall off the end of the bed. I have a regular weighted blanket (twin size, 25lb) and I love it but it is A) sometimes a bit more than I need B) inconvenient and bulky to store / carry from room to room and C) too hot! That's where this baby comes in! It's the perfect size and weight to place wherever you need it. I use it for cramps/leg pain, I also lay it across my chest for anxiety or to help me relax before I go to sleep. I love how easily I can take it from my bed to my couch, I've even used it as a passenger on long car rides! I keep finding new uses for it, so I'm sure theres more you can do with it. I'll fold it in half to sort of double the weight distribution sometimes as well. It's so soft and velvety, easy to spot clean as needed. The stitching is strong and it doesnt feel like its going to come apart anytime soon. Apparently it's machine washable but so far I've only needed to spot clean it. I recommend it if you're looking for something that takes up less space but provide many of the same functions as a "regular" size weighted blanket. Read more

Feels heavier then 7 pounds. I purchased it for my mom. I bought a smaller one cause she does not like things on her feet. Its pretty. I place it on the side of her body. She likes it because it comforts her. It helps her stay calm while sleeping. It is well made and I am confident it will last. Its the size as shown. I think the cost was exceptable. Read more

This is a great weighted blanket! I had tried them in the past many were too heavy and too big. This is just enough to be comfortable when you’re falling asleep and generally, it does move off of me throughout the night and when I wake up, I either put it back on or just fall back to sleep. And often since I’m an early riser, my husband takes it and it helps him Stay asleep for a few extra hours! I also have the nod pod eye mask, which I do love as well. It definitely gives a comfortable feeling of pressure in the appropriate way when falling asleep. I was completely unaware of the benefits of this blanket until I acquired it. Its compact size makes it easy to carry and bring around my apartment. It’s incredibly comforting, and I even bring it to bed. I appreciate that it doesn’t cover my entire body, which prevents me from feeling claustrophobic. Since it covers only a small portion of my body, I can easily adjust its position to find the most comfortable spot. I haven’t tried washing it yet, but so far, it’s been fantastic and has helped reduce my anxiety. Read more
