Eeeeeeek!!!!!! These boots ARE EXACTLY AS PICTURED, AND ARE EXACTLY AS DESCRIBED!! These are going to be PERFECT for my Seline/Underworld Costume! They fit beautifully! They're comfortable and they have a good grip when walking. I usually wear an 8 to an 8-1/2. I ordered an 8 since I'll be wearing fleece-lined "panty hose." I'm glad I did! They are absolutely TRUE TO SIZE. For reference, I do NOT have a narrow foot, by any means. On OCCASION I need to get a shoe in Wide or size a half-size up (for things like heels, or Sperry's, etc. ...like MOST people). If you plan on wearing thick socks, then yes, size up just as you'd need to do with any other fitted boot...these aren't Uggs or snowboots, lol, so NO they're NOT made with thick socks in mind (sorry, all these comments about "OMG, I had to send them back to get a bigger size bc they were too small with my thick socks!"🤦‍♀️) If you're going to wear a thin sock or panty hose, get your regular size. If you plan on wearing thick socks, then size up! If you plan on wearing them over jeans?? Don't. UNLESS you have very thin legs allowing for extra room. Side Note: I don't have Large legs, but I do have thick-ish calves. I'd be able to get them over leggings, but never over jeans. I'm 5'6, 128 pounds.
