Installed in less than 5 minutes on my jeep. Was nervous about tearing apart the dash, but was really quite simple. I placed it on the right side and looks good from the drivers seat. The left side blocked too much of the infotainment screen. I just wanted it to hold my phone since there isn't a great place and got tired of throwing it on the passenger seat. It holds my iPhone 16 well. Comes with no instructions. There’s only two screws under the dash you can use. One puts the phone behind the wiper control and steering wheel. Too difficult to see the phone. The other puts it right in front of your passenger side air vent to the right of the radio. Which is better, but a little far away. Biggest gripe I have is what you get for the money: not much. The only difference between this and others out there that are half the price is the small inch and a half long bent piece of metal that mounts the ball and magnet to the dash screw. Was tempted to return it and buy a cheaper magnet and ball and then fab up my own small bent piece of metal, but the difference in price wasn’t big enough to warrant all that. It does work.
