First of all- I have wide calves (17”) and these actually worked for me. I had to really tug on the zipper to make it those last few inches, but they actually zipped up, which I can tell you has NEVER happened with any boots that weren’t labeled “wide calf”. Second- the heel is plastic, even on the bottom, which I can already see being an issue when it’s wet/icy so I’ll be adding some rubber to the heel to make it more non-slip. Third- I don’t have wide feet, but I will reiterate what others have said about a tightness across the top/center of my feet (the left foot, to be precise). I heated these up with my blow dryer and wore regular socks (as opposed to lightweight socks or tights) to help it loosen up. I’ve been wearing them for a couple hours around the house and they’re pretty comfortable! For $36 they’re a good buy. Read more

I typically wear a 9 to a 9 1/2 and ordered the 9 1/2. They fit very well and are very comfortable. I wore then to a wedding last weekend and stood for 4 hours and they never bothered me. I even spent a good amount of time on the dance floor and was fine. Read more

The boots are lovely. They look like every other real suede boot. I’ve seen the heel is nice a nice height and yet it’s chunky so that you feel stable, especially if you’re older and not used to wearing a heel I would recommend them. I don’t know how they wear yet but if they wear well, I would definitely buy another color. It’s a nice wide calf so if you’re wider on top, it’s you know going to zipper up very nicely.
