Initially I liked the boots out of the package but the heel area was not comfortable on the foot and gave me a blister the first day I tried wearing them. I have been hesitant to give them another try but it is possible they could become more comfortable over time as sometimes is the case with new shoes. I like the look of these. They are able to fit a wide calf but are very tight. It is actually more difficult surprisingly to get them on and off at the ankle portion of the boot than it is over the calf. So if anything, I wish there was a zipper at the ankle for you to maneuver your heel in and through. I would definitely recommend wearing knee-highs of some sort so that it slips on and off more easily and doesn't catch on your skin or any kind of sweat moisture. They are very soft and the heel is not uncomfortable to wear. I wouldn't say that they are slip resistant, but it's not super slippery when you're wearing them like most heels I guess. I like the look of the detail on the laces on the back of the knee. Overall I would say these are a good choice for thigh high boots. Just wish there was a zipper for the ankle Read more
