Worth the Price and Great Ice Breaker!
We have one of the earlier generation PS5s and lately it had been shutting off without warning after a few hours of play. We tried a ton of other things from cleaning out the dust frequently to getting one of those extra cooling fans to disperse the heat more. We switched which outlet it was plugged into and cleared out the cache. Nothing seemed to work. Then we decided to invest into one of the side panels that had extra vents on the side. The one with wood paneling caught our eyes as being unique so we figured to give it a shot. The wood appearance isn't just a sticker with a pattern slapped onto it. There is some texture to it that simulates a wood grain. It's still just plastic, but we found it fun that it tried to emulate the feel as best as possible. It's also just as durable as any other siding. They did not go cheap on the materials. During a family get together one of our relatives pointed at it in astonishment and asked where we got the custom siding for our PS5. He was very surprised when we told him it wasn't custom and we found it and other wood grain sidings at very reasonable prices. Because of this we found out our relative is a fellow gamer and started playing games with them too! What's more is that our PS5 did stop randomly shutting off.
