I was not expecting to love this foundation so much! It has a beautiful, lightweight, matte, silky texture that really does blur pores. It almost has a velvet finish to it. It reminds me a bit of Tarte skin treat. I find that it blends very easily and isn’t fussy to work with. I would say it provides light to medium buildable coverage. I love the added zinc sunscreen in it especially for summer. The color 400 is fair with a yellowish undertone and it worked perfectly for me surprisingly. The tube is easy to travel with or throw in your purse without leaking. I am extremely impressed by the silky texture and ease of use. The finish is a soft matte definitely not a dry matte. For reference I have very fair combo skin with visible pores and texture. I love that it doesn’t feel greasy or heavy. I didn’t find it clung to the one dry patch I currently have. It didn't look cakey or obvious it gave a natural look with some freckles still showing through. It layered well over my moisturizer and sunscreen. I have to wear sunscreen every day because I am on tretinoin and I love this as an added layer. The only active sunscreen ingredient is zinc (nano) and there is a chemical sunscreen booster (like most all mineral sunscreens) in the inactive ingredients only. I noticed the color range isn’t great but if you can find a match it’s definitely worth a try. If you are looking for a soft matte, pore blurring sunscreen skin tint/foundation with light/medium coverage I’d consider it. The only thing I will say is that it isn’t completely transfer proof but I wasn’t expecting it to be. It also doesn’t wipe off over everything. It also won’t completely cover spots but I wasn’t expecting that either. It covers better than most skin tints I have though. I have no idea how this would work on very dry skin considering that it’s a matte finish but it does have hydrating ingredients added in it. It definitely didn’t leave my skin feeling all dried out like some matte products do. Just fyi I paid for this with my own money and was not gifted this by any “vine” or whatever it is. Read more

The media could not be loaded. This is a brand new product from Covergirl. A lot of brands have launched skin tints this summer and this one is very different from every skin tint I have ever tried. It claims to be a blurring soft matte skin tint with a light to medium coverage. What it really is: A foundation with spf 30 that has a medium to full coverage with a true matte finish. If you have combo to oily skin you will like this product. If you have dry skin, this is not for you. I have combo skin and there are several things I like and dislike about this product. What I like: 1- Shade match. I bought shade 415 Light Neutral and it was perfect. 2- I do not have to set this product. Not with powder, not with spray. It lasts all day without breaking appart. 3- It blends very well and I need very little to cover all my face. It controls my oily parts and the shine. 4- It is very blurring and lightweight. What I dislike: 1- Packaging is terrible. This is not a liquid skin tint. The texture is a thick cream and it gets stuck on the tube. Sometimes I have to squeze a little hard and too much comes out. A pump would have been better for this. 2- The true matte finish. I prefer a soft matte because some areas of my face (like my chin and around the nose) are very dry and this looks cackey in those areas no matter how little I put. I have to use a heavy moisturizer to avoid this issue. The product was advertised as soft matte but it isn't. 3- The SPF is kind of useless. You can't put the amount of product really needed for adecuate sun protection because it will be very cakey and heavy on the skin. A little goes a long way so I wear my regular SPF underneath. Overall is a good product. It is a foundation in my opinion. It feels like a foundation on the skin. People with oily skin will really love it because it does blurs the pores very well and controls the oil. It is not a product for all skin types though. If you have dry skin or prefer a dewy finish, this foundation is not for you. Read more

For an inexpensive product this is actually one of my favs and I use a lot of "high end" things. This is one of the only beauty products I consistently rebuy, if fact its a subscribe and save item now. It blends really well and doesn't oxidize. The coverage is not like a foundation much more like a BB cream. So keep that in mind- it will not provide full coverage. It is hydrating for my old skin and doesn't crease. I hop they never discontinue Read more

It’s a fine product, I’m just disappointed because I loved the color mimicking moisturizing foundation but I found that I was allergic to most brands so I was forced to try something safer for my skin and Ive trusted cover girl for 45 years so I decided to try the tinted blur and really it’s fine and feels weightless but I guess I’m just disappointed in the color after trying the color mimicking foundations that match perfectly so that’s why I gave it three stars. This is what I look like after sweating for hours. It's still intact. I think is a bit darker for me but it's barely noticeable. I love the texture, the consistency is lightweight yet has a great coverage. I am definitely going to buy this again. Read more

I generally don’t like to put too much thought into my makeup routine, so I hoped this would be a good “one stop shop” so provide some blurring coverage/color correction and a little SPF. Buyer beware this is not the solution! The texture is super chalky, almost gritty. The coverage is so thick it feels like a full foundation. Does not apply evenly and left streaks and weird dots/splotches on my face. The color match is not very good either. Whatever SPF it provides is not worth it. Absolutely do not try to layer this product- I put on a setting powder and the combination left me looking like a corpse. After applying this product I literally drove to a Sephora and asked for help. Ended up buying the Rare Beauty Tinted Moisturizer with SPF 20 instead. A little pricey for me but so worth it after trying this garbage product! Read more
