However, my feet have been hurting between the heels and the toes. So, these boots have a square toe that is tapered which is more attractive than a regular square toe and the heel is not flat but close enough for comfort. I live these boots! I ordered my normal size, and they fit me perfectly. The calf area is wider to accommodate larger calfs. They are very flattering. They are very comfortable. The sole is cushioned well, and the bottom of the sole is also cushioned, so they are not loud to walk in. The material is thick and smooth and feels great against my skin. They do come all the way up to my knee caps. They don't stop an inch or two below like most boots I've ordered in the past. They are great quality and a great value.
